Well, Argy's got MOC of the Week, and I think that's a really neat idea. But I don't want to copy him directly. So I was thinking, and I decided that I would do MOC of the Day, which I would make a content block for, to showcase the MOCs. But I don't know if I should. What do ya'll think, should I?

Why is it that when I start making a MOC for a contest I end up deviating away from what I was originally building?
This needs to stop happening, or I'll never get around to entering one of them thar BBC thingies.
A little list I thought up:
DO: Build a lot. Build when you have an idea. Just build.
DON'T: Build the same thing over and over and over. Repition of a design only works for so long, and isn't impresive.
DO: Be creative. Use pieces in a neat way. I don't care what piece, just use it well.
DON'T: Be a "niche" MOCer (i.e. only toamods, only rahi, only small stuff, only matoran).
DO: Try multiple different MOCing styles. Try out weave style, fusion, make your own style. Take a style and
Wow. I just read through a topic in which EVERY person who replied said that the MOC needed more customness. It pained me to read posts that offered absoulutely no constructive criticism. Seriously, people need to stop using the word "custom." Its lost all meaning, if it ever had one. It's just stupid to continue using the word. So, for all who read this entry, I have a challenge. I challenge you to discontinue your use of the word "custom." I challenge you to tell others why "custom" should no
I can't seem to finish anything right now. Not my book I'm reading, not my report I'm writing, not my MOC I'm building. It's irritating. And suspense is killing me. Argh!
Oh, and Zip, if you still want a chain skirt thing-y, I thought something like This might work (it's more of a "metal skirt, but I think it'd look better with a few more mahri tubes it might work. And you could tweak it a bit.)
I can't even finish this ent
Just got a Co-op Job with Magna Seating. Going to start working on July 12th!
(though, this and Brickfair could be conflicts of interest. That is more than slightly disappointing. I'm pretty sure I'll be able to work around it)
If I were to complain about getting few posts in any given topic, I can almost guarntee you that I'll get more posts. Also, if I made an incredibly horrible MOC, I'd get more reviews than an amazing/cool MOC. I find that to be pretty funny/ironic. Hah.
Also, I think I might do a few entries about 10 reasons why something is FAIL/WIN.

Suspense kills more people than falling coconuts.
For those who care, I might post a MOC topic tomorrow. Or not. And for those who know, I've already posted a MOC topic.

Won't be properly posted until 2011. Enjoy the bad picture, I guess. The hand is placeholder.
And depending on if I get a 2.0 for my birthday or not, I might update other parts of it as well.
What's 64x32 (studs) and is forcing me to make a new photo setup?
My newest project, that's what is.
I've got it built, I just need to get it photographed

So, vote for the MOC that you think is the best. I'm still going to pick the winners and such, but if a MOC gets enough votes, I'll prolly rethink how I've decided them.
Voting starts today and ends tomorrow, so tell all of your friends! (W
