That is quite crafty.

 

I am guessing the neck is pretty flexible? Or at least in moving up and down? (Same with the back, though that would be awkward. Must be strange to lift if though and have all that free-flowing stuff.)

Actually, the ridges on the Mahri tubes that are threaded through the shoulder pads lock up the shoulder pads, making it pretty rigid. There is a little play, but other than that it's really solid.

You couldn't have attached the Mahri tube holding the neck together directly to the nougat socket behind the head?

Unfortunately, no. It looks better when the head's bent down instead of the current position. If I can figure out a way to make the back legs shorter, I'll be able to pose the head closer to that hockey piece.

Someone had fun at the yard sale.

Yeah, and I still have 4 of those shoulder pads left over (though, they're probably the 4 I owned before that sale).

 

5 bucks for a quart bag full of dark tan, white, and bronze pieces is 5 bucks very well spent.
