Inbox...thou Needs Much Cleaning...

As today beith International Inbox Day (for myself), I thought I mighteth celebrate with a picture of mine inbox.   Yonder link.   'Tis in need of cleaning, that...   Duke Duke: Good grief! Who have you been writing? (I mean, who art thou...oh, you know.)   Just my friends...     Okay, guys, I've also got an important lesson for all of you. Please pay close attention, because this is necessary knowledge if you ever want to actually be someone in life. (As is knowing how to spell "neccessar

Yonder Krekka, Thee Art...changed...

In angry nidhiki's funniest edit contest, I took it into mine head to try my hand. And aye, it turned much better then my hopes 'twould have dreamed...   The original   To...   The edit     Just thought I might share it with thou readers, as it seemeth too good to keep to myself alone.     Duke Duke: I honestly don't understand either picture...     Turakii

Sudden Comedy Contest Ideas

Just a few ideas my BZPower-obsessed family thought up for future comedy contests.   Whether or not there are going to be any comedy contests anytime soon are completely up to Schizo Kaita, but this is just an idea. What if there was a narrative, one-post comedy contest?   Narrative, because when you write narratively, you put more work and thought into your story. It can help prevent utter randomness, too.   One-post, because then there'll be a lot less to read, no matter how many entries,

I'm With Lord Surverlode...

On one thing, anyways.   Aye, though many a danger he holds in his grasp In some things, Surverlode doth have a point.   That saideth, on to the resteth of thiseth entryeth!     The winners have yet to be announced in yonder story contest, but it won't be longeth now. Now, if you'll excuseth me, I'm going to haveth an extremely excited moment...     Yahooo!     We wait only for Lady K, and then the winners shalt be assembled in the great and galorious halls of...of...   ...Something..

Ye Olde Signatures, Entries, And Contests

Aye, only two hours left in yonder contest!   I have a question for thou, O great members-with-knowledge. In the reading of signatures, I hath noticed many with rule-breaking banners or texteths. But, wheneverso I reporteth them, nothingeth happens.   So far, I have sent mine these reports of mine to Sir -Kex- and Master Omicron. But nothing hath come of them. The violating signatures stay yet.   Hast anyone any advice on signature reports?   (Must...readeth...Shakespeare...)     Duke Duke:

A New Styleth, Prithee?

LarryBoy: Ahoy there, matey's and landlubbers! Enjoy your stay here, lads, or ye'll walk the plank! And if you don't walk the plank, I'll throw you overboard---   Uh, LarryBoy? It's a Medieval Blog. Eth.   LarryBoy: Oh.   ...   I'll be right back. *Hops off.*   *Ahem.*   Alas, friends and foes alike (Though foes I have but none) Mine blog, 'twas boring all the night And that's not quite so fun Then, lo! An idea hit, and I Renamed this blog of mine And added "Ye Olde" to the title-e

Final, Finality, Finale

Well, the finals for the S&T story contest are up, and I made it!   "Tentacles" is entry number seven in the Mata Nui Final Poll.   At this moment, I'm in third with fifteen, while The Trigger's "The Invention of Mounted Crab Kolhii" is in second with sixteen. I didn't even know mounted crab kolhii was an actual sport. I need to read through that Bionicle Encyclopedia again.   In the lead is Vlati/Reya's "A Change of Heart." It's about an "epic battle," but it's a one-post short story

I Found Larryboy!

Random entry today. I was searching on Brickshelf and found out who LarryBoy is.   He's Larry Da' Cucumber.   Apparently, when you sign up for Brickshelf, you automatically get an account on Maj, and vice versa. That's why, if you search for "Turakii" on Brickshelf, there won't be anything in my folder. I've got everything on Maj.   And that, ladies and gentlemen, is my random entry of the day. I'll make a real one later.     Turakii

Our Wonderful Blog Staff

Did you ever think about how wonderful our Blog Staff is?   They pay close attention to your reports and are quick to respond. I can't imagine how many Private Messages they must get every day, both from reports and normal member chat.   It must take a lot of time to go through all the blogs, skimming entries and glancing in on comments to make sure nothing is amiss. And yet they do it without complaint. I admire that.   So, readers, as you make another blog entry, comment on someone else's

Stuffs.

"Stuffs." I like that word. Even if it's not a word. "Stuffs."   This is just random stuff I'm going to throw together today, because I really want to go outside.   Toa Tempus is collecting BZP nicknames for the nickname content block on his glob. If you have a nickname which isn't there, or if you're not there at all, feel free to either mention it here or PM him!   I found a Maj member named Sheerluck today. He has one of Lady Kopaka's avatars in his second folder. I also found one named

Random fact: Just got post 1400. And without LarryBoy's help.   LarryBoy: I need my own account...   Help! The Toa are drowning!     Someone get them an inflatable tube or something!   Turakii

For The Quizzery!

This entry's for thequizzery.com. Most people don't think about it as they make a quiz, but a lot of work went into the making of that site. Imagine how long it must have taken to arrange the quiz codes, and the time it must take to patrol the quizzes.   Twenty-two categories. Thousands of quizzes. It's positively amazing how Jamie's site has rocketed---and quite a few of the quizzery members are BZPers!   It must take up quite a bit of bandwidth. And yet the site remains standing.   I wrot

Toofa s'emag eht, nostaw rd, emoc, emoc!   Sherlock Holmes is the best. (I hope I spelled that right...I'm always getting him mixed up with Sheerluck Holmes.) The pipe, the awareness, the catchphrases...he's just cool. I'm posting ths in brown in his honor.   Not to mention all those fantastically big words. Take "elusive" for example. If it weren't for the dictionary, I don't think there would be any easy way of knowing what it means. Or "impervious." Or "incarceration."   All the stories w

A-la-entry! ^^

Everyone has read of the adventures of the Toa Mahri in Mahri Nui. And if you haven't, shame on you.   In those tales, the Toa were caught up in a race to save the Great Spirit and the universe, while simultaneously dodging mutated warlords and overlarge aquatic sea life. They succeeded, but barely, and with the loss of one of their teammates.   However, these things rarely happen in only one universe. In an alternate Mahri Nui, far away, the Toa Mahri heroically arrived as they did in our tal

Staples

Just a little topic I found in the Q&A. It isn't spam, but it still strikes me as funny.   Well, that was easy...   I've got a lot of facts to add to my little-known facts list (BCii, for one), but I can't do them now. Uncooperative content blocks...   Oh, and just a note: Don't bother with the search box. It doesn't work. It just takes up space.   Now, off to eat cereal! Frosted shredded wheat. Without Sprite. *Leaves.*   EDIT: LarryBoy and other Veggietales stuff topic up. Art and su

We're Busy! Busy! Dreadfully Busy!

Okay, I just had a brilliant idea!   I was thinking how un-original it is to simply take a song from Veggietales and use it for the server song, although it does apply. So here's my idea. Members (other than LarryBoy or myself) can write poems, limericks, haikus, or songs about the busy server message. Without flaming, of course. A song entitled, "How Much I Hate the Busy Server Messages," wouldn't really work. Just a little thing I could use in the Busy Server Content Block. An example:   "I

You'll Never Guess What I'm Doing Right Now!

Nothing.   ...   Okay, I'm joking. I'm blogging, and that's not nothing.   I was thinking I should add the Spiderman staff's real identities to the little-known member fact list. "Little-known member fact: Gwen Stacy is really -Kex-," etc. It might help prevent confusion for new members, not to mention myself. Any objections?   I added the "BZPower busy server themesong" content block. Really, that songs reminds of BZP in its busy times, and it always goes through my head when a busy messag

Little-known Member Fact

I've not much to say here, so I'll just post another member fact:   DudeNuva once got his hands frozen in Reeses chocolate.   Thank you, that is all.   EDIT: Oh yes, and yesterday bonesiii PMed me and asked me if I wanted to help judge the S&T entries. Since I was doing most of the judge-ish stuff already, I accepted. (Thanks again, bonesiii!)   So, if you need or want one more judge to totally tear apart your story and point out every grammatical error and typo, PM me!   LarryBoy:

Dive!

I honestly don't have much to say. After reading S&T entries all day, my eyes feel like they're going to fail on me. Other than posting to my Fruit War artwork topic and pausing for lunch, I didn't do much else.   I'm going to go swimming now.   LarryBoy: Ooh, an entry all to myself...   Wait, Turakii's going swimming!? Hey! Wait for me!   (Good, LarryBoy's gone.) Oh yeah, forgot to mention. I added a blog library content block at the bottom of my blog. Well, LarryBoy did, actually.

The Polls, They're Up!

The polls are up! And all the people say, whoo-hoo-hoo-hoo-hoo-hoo!   I love that song.   Anyways, they're still locked at the moment, but at least we can see who's in what poll. I think the Voya Nui ones are going to be up soon. I'm in poll C, Mata Nui. (I'm saying this so I don't forget.)   LarryBoy: Poll C, poll C, poll C, poll C.   Random news: There are some emoticons I've always thought BZP needed, so I put them up on my Maj.   Take this as an example. Haven't you always wanted to

New Content Block, A. K. A. Content Block Woes

I copied all the little-known member facts and made them into their own content block, so now, as the entry sinks, the facts will still be visible to the world. Smart, no?   It took forever to get it there. I don't understand why these content blocks are so temperamental. They follow just behind your mouse when you try to drag them (or sometimes don't follow at all), and when you try to drop them somewhere, they move slowly around in big circles for a long time before finally deciding where to

Three Cheers For Onuki! Cheer! Cheer! Cheer!

Onuki, owner of the best orange-Pakari'd avatar around and one of our newest POBZPCs, has got Blog of the Week #4! Whoohoo!   A big congratulations, Onuki! I'm really happy for you! (It's not little-known now, but I added it to the list in the little-known facts list.)   That would make a good blog title. "Blog of the Week #4."   Congrats again, Onuki, and enjoy your new banner!   LarryBoy: And from me! (Umm...who is this "new key" guy, anyways? )   One of my earliest topics made it into

Ah, The Bringing-back Of Old Fads...

Quick update: I updated the entry below a bit, but if anyone has more little-known facts to share, feel liberated.   Anyways, on to the subject this entry was supposed to be about.     For those who wish the "land" fad had never ended... Click this too!     You have to be totally obsessed to make one of those.   I love Paint Shop Pro.   End of Entry     Turakii
