So I go to all the trouble of moving my BZP images from Majhost to Brickshelf, and right after I finish telling Makaru that Brickshelf is usually pretty reliable, it decides to stop working. Seeing as I have another four hours to wait here in Dallas, I might as well do a quick review of the past few days. I flew to Baltimore at around midnight on Tuesday night. I seem to have lost a small bag of BrickArms containing several purple and blue sci-fi weapons, a camouflaged sniper, and some sort of tan gun (can't remember exactly which, but it was a prototype). I also can't find my Series 2 surfer.

BrickCon was a success!
I got to meet a few awesome BZPers. Roa, Arpy, xccj, and Kopakanui. I didn't really get around to talking to Cajun or Binkmeister, but Binky commented on my BZP brick on my brick badge.
Okay, I'll start from the top. Day One:
I wanted to leave Vancouver at about 8:00 a.m., but we ended up leaving at around nine. The wait at the border was about half and hour, unfortunately, but oh well. We arrived
I was in Seattle for three days, so now I'm back.
Yeah, I went with my school band. We did three concerts. I'm amazed I got any sleep at all, because the first night we were all really hyper (me and the other three people I was rooming with) and the second night the other three were watching TV while I was trying to go the sleep. Then we had to wake up at like 6:45, shower, and rush downstairs for breakfast.

I have all three. The T6 I got a long time ago. The T9 I got at forty percent off at the Scratch & Dent at the Lego Store in Seattle, during the BrickCon Lego Store visit. I actually have Roa to thank for that one - she also wanted it, but she said that if she got in before me she wouldn't take it.

Everyone go read Pomegranate's blog entry. I've been thinking along those same lines. In a way, I get where all the negativity comes from; the fact is, this is a community of mostly adults, and wherever there are a bunch of adults there will almost always be conflict. Anyways, the holidays have been rather nice so far. My dad and I finally got around to moving our record player into my room (since I'm the only one who ever listens to records) so now I have a full stereo system in my room. This, combined with having around two hundred records to choose from, makes for some awesome entertainment. It sounds rather wonderful.

In other news, the Olympics (which are unfortunately now over, as the world knows) were even more eventful than I had predicted. Got lots of swag and went to the Paralympic Opening Ceremonies. More later.

An effect of general relativity is that the closer you are to a gravitational source (an object with mass), the slower time flows.
