So here's a summary of SuperDance (see three entries below):
All went well. Set up and cleanup went really well. IHOP was fun afterwards.
And the dance was great too!
I got CDs signed by Pat McGee, Crash Boom Bang, and The Hint. Those bands were awesome! (and I likes Pat McGee (alumni!) and CBB beforehand)
So, being the year 2007, we did a 007 theme.

So here at Superdance (see previous entry which will tell you to see the entry before that), Crash Boom Bang has played, and they were just as awesome as last year. A couple hours later, The Hint played, and they were good too, enough to make me buy their CD.
So, yeah, I'm here in the break room to drop off my new CD.

It was great! And I got him to sign my SD shirts, the cover and CD to "Shine" and "Save Me" and his autograph on the SD logo.

SUPERDANCE!!!
This is a fundraiser for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, a group that works towards finding a cure for Cystic Fibrosis and for helping those that have it get through life. CF is a disease that clogs the lungs with mucous, making it hard to breath.

So now that this new BBCC is up, I'm figuring out what to enter. I don't have enough time to make a totally new MOC, plus then I'd have to take apart stuff I'm sending to BrickFest PDX 2007.

That's right. Today I went to my first Anime Con! (Convention): Katsucon!!!
It was located at DC's Omni Shoreham Hotel.
It was really fun. I met up with two other friends that had been there Saturday as well, so they showed me around and we just had fun. Couple of highlights:
-Cosplaying: This is pretty much the biggest thing at any Con. People costume play as characters from various anime. The costumes are really detailed and look amazing. (Sorry, Omi, I couldn't find any FF cos
That's the time I estimate that I spent on the board on Thursday. With the Snow Day and the house to myself, I used it to my advantage.
Also, I have today off! Crazy Fairfax County (Virginia). But I'm not complaining----I got out early on Tuesday, off Wednesday, off Thursday, off Friday, and then comes President's Day on monday! Add it up yourself.

So I finally get some snow here in the DC area.
I got to miss school, but didn't enjoy it much because I'm sick, but I really needed rest so it beats dealing with school.

So I went to the Master Builder event today (the one I've been talking about all week)
I actually got to talk with the Master Builder, and he actually works in Enfield with GregF!
He organized the building of an 8 foot tall aligator, but the kids (and me) actually built the huge to-scale 2X4's and 1X4's and 2X2's and whatever else was needed. In the end it was pretty cool.

This is an actually legend in RPGs. Some guy had the brilliant idea to have an acklay* pop up from nowhere. And I mean nowhere. Anywhere, actually. When flying in your x-wing. Battling Darth Vader. Buying coffee at the intergalatic starbucks.

So, today is the famous, or infamous, Groundhog Day. Each year on February 2nd, Mr. Punxsutawney Phil pops out of his hole and looks for his shadow. Either seeing it or not means different things.
