Oh boy, I got news! And I got proto! How very exciting. I've gotten news but once before.
They credited me as Rav, though, which I found rather odd (but awesome, because I prefer Rav ). Perhaps they credit based on the email signoff instead of username, I dunno.

Why don't people realise that the 3DS is not a new DS, it's a next-gen handheld?
Well, my blog is back to normal, like I said it would be.
Got TF2 yesterday, well, got it BACK after Steam killed itself. It's a very fun game, and I recommend it to anyone with bloodlust (well, comic bloodlust)
And that's pretty much all I have to say for now... Oh, no, wait a second...
DSi has some new colours, like lime green, light blue (REAL light blue, not sky blue of the Lite), Navy (or "Metallic Blue"), and, (o.O) Hot Pink.

I have three days off. These will be spent watching videos, posting, and learning Python. Then in the holidays I will be watching videos, posting, and attempting to build a Dalek.

As far as I know, we haven't had a tsunami. We're still on tsunami warning, though.
Went to the doctor, I have a respiratory infection. So I've taken about 4 different types of tablets, and hopefully that'll fix me up. I get tomorrow off school, and maybe Tuesday too.
I just got back from a 2 week trip to New Zealand, and I have to say, the weather was a lot nicer. When we arrived in Australia again it was mid 30's in the shade with humidity at about 90%
The original plan was to go around the North Island for a week, then the South for another, but my mum got scared of the ferry across (It was horrible weather) so we just trekked around the North Island for 2 weeks instead. And my gums stick out and are uncomfortable.

This morning came the release of Ubuntu 11.10, Oneiric Ocelot. I rushed to install it, left in a hurry for school, and arrived back to find it pretty much done (it had to pause to ask my permission while I was at school). So now I have Oneiric. Cool. It brings signifcant improvements. Skype, for example, loads about three times as fast. The settings are much neater, and Mac-like. In fact, it has a bit of a Mac OS feel to it, what with Unity. But that's good, because Mac's user experience is fant

As I lie here, having just watched the first of two shows (the second of which I attended live) by the immensely wonderful Stephen Fry on the ABC, at around 10pm, I remember my weekend, with caves and animals galore, The magnificent, wonderful Jenolan Caves yesterday and today the Taronga Western Plains Zoo, both so easily entire weekends themselves, Jenolan especially and perhaps more. That was fantastic, both locations. But what I wanted to express today was not my joy at going to these place
The Beast Below was awesome, especially the end. As a whole, the episode was more 'Moffat' than The Eleventh Hour, but not fully spooky and stuff, like his other episodes. The Next Time trailer was probably my favourite next time trailer ever, lol. I can't wait for next week. And then it starts in AUS, so I'm not going to steal any more from the UK after the Victory of the Daleks. Apparently it's called that because they actually win. Huh.

On Thursday night, I ordered the HTC Legend, and it shipped yesterday (Friday). So I'll get it by (hopefully before) Friday! I went to the shopping centre to get a gift for Mother's Day, then I had a look around for a bit.

Yes indeed, I did contract H1N1 Swine Influenza in the week preceeding my school holidays. And the 1/200 chance I had of dying from it (obviously) didn't happen.

EDIT: The death rate has increased from ~1/200 to ~1/100. There is approxmately a 1% chance you'll die from this disease. Please, get vaccinated. It is MUCH more dangerous than regular flu (
I listened to Jeff Wayne's musical version of War of the Worlds a couple of days ago, and I can't get it out of my head now! It does have some good songs, though. And a good story. So I suppose it's OK.
