Well, I graduate high school in a mere 2 weeks. The ceremonies are this weekend. Me and my friends decided to do this a long time ago, but only now did it - our grad prank. The rest of the grad class has already done theirs (some great stuff, too), but we wanted our own. A car... Though the hat appears to be a new mold; it has a curved brim rather than the flat I'm used to. Came with two of those and two wrenches. I finally managed to acquire a tad bit of money, so I went and bought a CD copy of Yes' "Fragile" with two bonus songs on it. I already had it on vinyl, but it was scratched and I really love the "America" bonus track. Plus it was just sitting there at walmart and I had to get it... it spoke to me. Anyway, I had some money left over and nothing in town to buy, so I turned to the internet. I managed to find Rush's "Hemispheres" on amazon for $2, which was awesome, as well as a motherload of mas
My copy of the limited edition deluxe set of Coheed's "The Afterman" finally came yesterday. They had some problems with lyric printing and stuff, thus the delay. Still, it's here now, and good lord is it gorgeous! Descension being spun a taste of the inside So yeah, and after reading the story in the book, it's amazing how good it is. Complete with some important moral decisions and plot twists, it's a really fantastic read. Really really recommend this album to anyone half interested
so in ear training class today someone had written "What a friend we have in Jesus" on the board, so one of the other guys stood up in the middle of the class, erased "Jesus" and put "Jimi Hendrix." Then we progressed into a lesson on suspended chords and another kid at the end of the lesson changed it to "What a friend we have in Gsus"
Is an awesome album. Just got it yesterday, and it's great. I wasn't ever much of a Maiden fan, but I'm getting there. Bruce's voice is really strained at times though.
When the Wild Wind Blows is the best song, in my opinion. It's so different from normal Maiden stuff.

I'm -still- having a hard time believing that it actually happened. that finale is all I've been able to think about the last few days between the ending and the fact that it's actually over. I was actually starting to stress out about what the creators would have to say, which route they'd take - but yet again I was relieved with the messages they posted. Good series, good world, good people. Farewell to the coolest animated show since its predecessor.
