Small fun fact about yesterday; so I wore that bells around my ankle all day, and I really enjoyed hearing them jingle when I walked... but yesterday when I went to bed, I could still hear them in my mind. What is your favourite physics branch and why? (if you don't like physics, feel free to replace that with science in general =D) As for me, it has to be material physics, or in general anything that involves low-dimensional stuff like graphene and carbon nanotubes, for the potential technical applications are super interesting (flexible, transparent electrodes! Awesome.) and I find the methods cool (strain experiments in material physics, for example).
Is it just me, or do people post a lot in topics/blog entries that are dramatic/have to do with a scandal/are disturbing/whatever ?

Felt like I should explain my semi-absence once again... it boils down to two, maybe three factors, so I'll jump right into it: 1) the most important part is my aaaaaaah-pplication for a PhD position! Dunno if they'll choose me, but we'll see. I'll probably apply for another position or two, depends on when I get my nerves back. Seriously, those past two weeks were... not so fun. Some of you blog-readers might remember that I said something about a CGed entry - I gave up the idea because I saw what other people can do with a computer, and so... well.
Here's ther first entry idea, but I didn't add text, so I'll explain - it's a machine to bring the dead back to life. ^^
So, first we have what happens if you listen to Creature Feature for several hours: ... and here's the results of simply continuing to do so 'till the evening: Okay, to be fair, I actually slept very well, but towards the end of yesterday I was really nervous, anxious, and easily frightened. (also, Steeeeveeeeeen...) ... and I'm 99% sure it was because of the music, for my sis felt the same way and we both listened to the same stuff xD
When I read that quote, the perfect image came to my mind. And I just had to draw it 'cause, you know, that's totally what he would be like. Most of his income is from pick-pocketing and selling that stuff afterwards. (which sadly is the only way to get to a good amount of money in that game, anyway). But somehow he's rather cute. xD

Who me? Not really, no. I am just not overly fond of fashion rules and/or restrictions. Basically it boils down to stuff like a former friend going all "Oh you want cyberloxx? Then you'll have to wear a full cyber outfit though." or similarly whenever I talked about potential ideas or projects. I just don't get the whole thinking in boxes. If someone wants to completely stick to a style, that's fine with me. If someone mixes different influences, that's suddenly a bad thing? IMO alte
