Where Are The Masks?

Do not bypass or allude to words in the filter. - Kohaku I ordered "The Clone Wars: The Complete First Season" from Amazon.de and along with it I ordered two of those Kanohi/Krana bags you may remember from 2002. Today the shipment arrived, but it included only one pack of Krana, while all documents on my order say I ordered and payed for two! I already wrote to Amazon.de Customer Service and I am eager to hear their reply. -.-

How Embarrassing...

Okay, guess what just happened   One of my best friends has got birthday today and I'm invited to her party tomorrow. Last week I already bought what I thought to be the perfect gift - the book "Coraline" by Neil Gaiman, her favourite author. Now she just told me via Skype that she got the very same book today... honestly, I could kill myself right now >.<

Salt & Vinegar

Today I saw this bag full of potato chips in my local store... it read:   "Salt & Vinegar - English Style"   Well, I am not English, and if you ask me why I bought it, I have to stay true to my motto: "Can't answer it."   But: They taste SO GOOD! You may excuse me now, I have to ingest the rest of this delicious meal.

New Blog Name

Well, due to recent developments regarding my position here on BZP, I felt it was appropriate to take the most-used Greg reply as blog name.   Do you like the new name? - Can't answer it!   EDIT: Thanks to Sumiki for the idea for my blog subtitle .

A Perplexing Problem...

Maybe some of it know the dilemma--   One of your best friends celebrates her birthday and you've got the perfect gift for her, however you have nothing to wrap it in nicely... this problem is giving me headache.   Let's hope I'll find something in the next few hours or it'll grow from being a problem to being... to being... um... a big problem? A VERY big problem?

Time Zones...

Sometimes time zones are annoying. Bioran and I wanted to do an MSN chat to discuss some things but there are two problems:   1) When he is awake and has spare time, I am either asleep or at school. 2) And vice versa.   That can be frustrating...

Canon Contests

Because of recent events, let me say a word or two about canon contests.   Definition The term "canon contest" is used to describe a competition during which a fan-created work gets selected among other entries to become part of what is considered to be the official storyline of a franchise. That "work" may be the design of a character, species, object or location by means of MOCing, drawing or describing it, or it may be a fan-written story that no longer is regarded "fan fiction" but an offi

Revived

Since I'm still active on BZP, albeit only in S&T, I decided I would revive my blog... thanks to Swert for inspiring me to do so and credit to Greg for the quote that inspired the new pretzel title. (And to a great thank you those medieval monks who invented pretzels in the first place.)   Anyway, not much to tell... so I'm just do a follow-up to my last entry ("Cancellation Year 2010"). Meet Continuation Year 2011. - Sanctuary has been renewed for a fourh season. Yay. And can't wait for t

Omw

Oh my wiki!   Just testing the latest nightly dump release for MediaWiki 1.18 - and the new installer rocks. Can't wait to see it in action in a few weeks when upgrading all those little wikis I'm responsible for to 1.17 - heck, if you need a wiki, call me, I'll do it just for the joy of using that installer.

Great Stargate Atlantis News!

Just read in Joe Malozzi's Blog that Stargate Universe S02E15 will feature a crossover with post-cancellation Stargate Atlantis. Which actors are slated to appear will be revealed by MGM soon, but it is known that the yet-to-be-filmed Stargate: Extinction script will have to be adjusted to match the events in the crossover.

Caprica

I watched the uncut Caprica pilot yesterday   1) Alessandra Torresani as Zoe Graystone looks really beautiful 2) The religious and cultural issues are very intriguing, especially Joseph Adama's ties to the underworld and the Soldiers of the One 3) The ancestors of William and Lee Adama are quite an interesting bunch. 4) I had to laugh when I first saw 11-year-old William. Bill Adama has always been referenced to as the "Old Man" in Battlestar Galactica, so this innocent little school boy rea
