Heroes is a good show, despite the past two seasons.

Season 1 is still the most epic. Initially, I didn't like season 2 particularly much, but two months ago I bought the DVD and watched it again - and suddenly the epic feeling caught me again. Season 3 Part 1 was quite ok, although I didn't really like the Arthur-robs-Peter's-power-storyline, although it ended in a satisfying way and they finally god rid of Kensei/Adam. I never really liked the second part of the season, because the Building 26 story was simply lame, but Nathan's death (his third death or his fourth? I can't remember) was really epic. I bought Season 3 Part 1 today on DVD, by the way. Season 4, the current season, IMO is really great. The characters - especially those at the carnival - are more complex than Danko or Sylar (they should have killed Sylar long ago, his presence has begun to feel forced). Samuel is a great villain and I like the way Mohinder has turned out after his deep fall in Season 2. Lydia and Edgar are also cool characters with a complex background and I have begun to actually like Noah Bennet.

Oh, and in case anyone watched the latest Heroes episode - in his delirious fanboy chattering, Hiro made a reference to Battlestar Galactica when he spoke of Caprica and the Cylons .
