When I got back from camp (see previous entry) I was not expecting BZPower to be off-line. After about 3 weeks I pretty much gave up checking back regularly. I probably would have noticed it had been turned back online sooner if I had continued to check back.
In the next few entries I'll post about the stuff that has happened over the summer and what is happening in the future for me.

Merry Christmas Every One!
It turns out that I did end getting about 8 inches over the last two days. About 6 hours and two tanks of gas later all of the neighbors' driveways are clear. The snow blower my family has is pretty unstoppable. My dad got it when I was a baby amd I remember him using it all through my childhood. It may start out a little slow but once it gets going. It had now trouble clear the 3 foot piles left from the snow plows.

Well, I finally convinced my dad to let install Firefox on one of the family's Vista computers. I need to have for my computer science class since we're covering Javascript and HTML and it works for debugging a lot better then IE.
My computer has been off-line since one of the computer moniters died and that was the only onw with Firefox. So it was either I get my moniter back, leaving one computer for the rest of the family, or install Firefox.
I'm going to try RPGing here at BZPower. This will be the first RPG I've ever joined. I'm not sure how it will go but it should be a fun experiment.
Don't look for me in Bionicle RPG, though. It's going to be the Rock Raiders RPG in LGD that I'm going to join. I've always liked that line, although I don't own any sets since they always go pretty high on ebay. It's also relatively new so I shouldn't have any problems integrating.

It seems like it's been forever since the forums went off-line. I guess I sort of felt like they were never going to come back, but here they are all shiny and brand new. I'm not going to try to give an update on every single thing I've done in the last 5 months(?), but there are a few somewhat important items. I'll probably miss a few things but what ever. Probably the biggest thing is that I graduated from high school all the way back in May and I'm now off at college, studying mechanica
No, I'm not graduating this year. I'm in the Class of 2011.
As of now I've received on invitation to a graduation party. I'm hoping that I get more because I actually know some of the people who are graduating in my home school group. The girl like is also graduating this year. She doesn't know I like her and I probably will never be able to tell her that I like her.
So goes another contest I've failed to enter. I thought about entering but most of my Technic pieces are white (NXT). A lot of my older stuff is black but apparently it doesn't count as Technic, which it is.
There are a lot of cool MOCs this time, but nothing as amazing as the friction pin cycle from the last contest. I'll look forward to vote, if I remember it this time.
School is just about over for this semester for me.
I have two review class periods and three finals left. My computer science final is at 10:00 AM on Friday and it's open notes/book so it should be easy. Then on Mondat at 8:00 AM I have the economics final. It will probably decently hard, although it's multiple choice so that makes it a lot easier.
The Physics final is at 7:30 AM on Tuesday. That one will probably be pretty hard. I don't think I'll have too much trouble if I go throu

Once I was done on here I went to look for a couple books, the last time I read anything for fun was the beginning of September. I read the Count of Monte Christo, which was a good but but I was rushing to get through it so I wouldn't have stop when I school started back up again.

I found my 75th Geocache yesterday. It was pretty exciting. The 75th on was a multicache that someone I know hid. It ends with a hollowed out book in the reference section of the local library. It is probably one of my favorite hids.
I will probably find number 100 sometime over the next week while I'm on vacation.
Ah, yes back to school on Monday. It was a nice vacation but I'm ready to get back to school. Too bad my first class is at 8:00 AM. At least I won't have to pack any lunches. Then I really be tired.
I had an entry on my class schedule partially drafted but I haven't had time to finish it. Maybe on Monday afternoon. Suffice to say I have at least 1 class every morning except Thursday. I'm taking three classes this semester and the writing class is going to be the worst.

On Sunday night I got to see Big Daddy Weave in Concert. Andy Kirk and Aaron Shust also performed.
Andy Kirk was the first performer. He was decent I guess, but I'm not too impressed. Aaron Shust was pretty good. He has a good voice and some of his songs are pretty good.
Big Daddy Weave was also really good. I saw them probably 4 or 5 years ago when they toured with Mark Schultz on his Broken and Beautiful Tour. They were a lot better this time. They use a sax for some of the songs,
I spent from Thursday Morning until Sunday Morning in the Wisconsin Dells. For those of you who are curious I was at the Wilderness Resort.
So we got there Thursday night and we went to the Klondike Kavern. We went on the Hurricane ride a few times. Since it was Thursday night there was no lines. We also went to the two other water park area's Wild West, which has the Black Hole, and Wild Water Dome, which has a huge wave pool, over the rest of our trip.

After being gone for two months it feels weird to be back at my house. It's nice though, since it does beat spending another weekend stuck in the dorms. Went for a really good run today. If I didn't know the date, I probably wouldn't be able to guess that it's almost the end of October, the temperature is still really nice out. The low 60's made for some nice running weather.
The last two weekends were the two indoor track meets that start off the high school track season.
At the first meet I ran the 800 M after the guy who was suppose to run it fell twice during the sprint medley. My time was pretty bad, even for what I've done in past years, 2:47.
At the second meet I led off the 4x800 M since half of the regular 4x800 team was gone. My split was a little better then the previous week, 2:41, but the junior and two freshmen who also ran averaged about 2:30 e
Hidden Beginnings
This is my attempt at creating a comic of sorts out of LEGO pieces. For the initial run of 30 to 50 episodes I'm going to be using the LEGO Advent Calender. If decide to continue it after the initial run a wider variety of LEGO Elements will introduced.
I hope to post a new episode everyday, except Sunday, for the initial release. It may not happen that way though because I may get busy, but we'll see.

It looks like my cross country season could be coming to a premature end. I thought I would be able to manage the season with out getting them, but yesterday's meet proved other.
It was the worst run of the season, at 22:31. And this is less then a week after my PR a 21:23. I was limping a bit this morning so hopefully some icing, rest, and stretching, will get me back into running soon, since there's less then 3 weeks left in the season.
Well, It likes I haven't updated for a while. School is finished for the summer. I'm not sure if the past sememster was easy or not, but I enjoyed it. It's wierd knowing I'm a junior now. A lot of the friends I made when I first got to college were juniors, so either they've graduated now, or will be graduating in December. I guess my girlfriend is the exception though, since she'll graduate next May. It's wierd knowing I'm already half done with college. I'm spending this summer working at
I'm currently in the process of burning my Brickshelf to the ground and reorganizing it. I actually started this a while ago and I'm now just getting around to finishing it. Brand new/old unposted stuff will finally be getting the light of day when I'm done.
I have two new MOCs to post sometime later this week and I have a collection of LEGO pictures that I also want to post some time during break.
We had peer review today in my writing class. Luckily I managed to throw the rest of my paper together last night. I had most of it written before that and I was done by nine, so this wasn't one of those all nighters I keep hearing people talk about.
You know, I don't think my parents would let pull an all nighter, even if I tried.

I finally got caught up on all of my school work so I thought I try to get something creative done. After a bunch of false starts, I think I have a reasonable story idea to work with.
It's about BZPower, although it's not set in a Bionicle reality like most other BZPower stories. I'm going more towards a LEGO System reality, although I'm not sure that it really comes out. I'm not sure if I should post it in LGD or COT, although I probably could get away with either place.

It's been almost a week now since I started getting shin splints. So far they haven't gotten any better. At this rate I won't be able to run again this season. The season ends in less then two weeks.
I want to finish out the cross country season, but it just seems like I won't be able to. My one big worry is that if I try to run before I really should, I could end up doing even more damage to shins. And then that could possibly hurt my final high school track season this spring.
