My entry is nearly finished already. And, not to brag, it's probably one of the most epic things I've ever made. Consider this:
Entirely custom feet.
Torso built from scratch.
Epic longsword.
HUGE shield.
Complexity which looks good.
And, at present, no head.
Actually, I've still got to do something about that last pointer.
Oh yes, as you may have guessed, the song in question is Coldplay's Viva La Vida. Hey, there's no rule against two people using the same song. And I kinda cl

I used to rule the world
Seas would rise when I gave the word
Now in the morning I sleep alone
Sweep the streets I used to own
I used to roll the dice
Feel the fear in my enemy's eyes
Listen as the crowd would sing:
"Now the old king is dead! Long live the king!"
One minute I held the key
Next the walls were closed on me
And I discovered that my castles stand
Upon pillars of salt, and pillars of sand
I hear Jerusalem bells are ringing

About two weeks prior to the event, I - or rather, my parents - are, for some reason, trying to ascertain the nature of my attire for the Year 10 Formal.
Oh yes, did I mention the Formal?
Anyway, while my fellows are busy renting or buying dresses and suits for excruciating prices, my father went digging through his wardrobe and found several pieces - suit, waistcoat, countless ties, shoes - which fit me nearperfectly. So HAH. =D
Yes.
Yes!
YES!
I've been waiting for another contest, and the theme is rather original too. Shall we say, the song I have in mind, and the subsequent MOC idea, could very well tie into '08...
So, as the final assessment piece for English this year, what I have to do is write a story. A story which either drips with sentimentality, or else is something of a social commentary. For obvious reasons, I've elected to do the latter.
And why am I writing about this, you may ask? Wouldn't you know, the only idea I have at present ties the story into The Unknown Turaga Saga. That's right, comics could very well contribute to an A in English. What I have in mind acts as an introduction
It is SO AWESOME. Truly, it's one of the most epic game soundtracks ever conceived by mankind. I sorely wish I had the means to show the world just how much so. There are so many EPIC tracks in it - Eternal Bond, Wheeling Corby, March of the Lion King, Unstoppable Destiny, Stalwarts Unite, the opening track, the main theme, The Devoted, On Glory's Wings, Bearer of Hope, and Hymn of the Righteous, to name a few.
Oh yes, while on the subject, you've probably heard one or two of the songs i
No, I don't come bearing MOCs this time.
Well, things are certainly getting busier for me. Not only am I now working with a total of five (soon to be six) comic series, operating two wikis, running a MOC library, bludging at Cyan, and generally posting random babble everywhere, things are seriously beginning to escalate on the school front, to the extent that finishing the year early is simultaneously a blessing and a curse. *marks December 5 on calendar*
Not exactly as awesome as Krakua, but you've got to give me credit for posting another MOC within 24 hours of the first.
(PS: Click the pic, darn it. )
