I was trying to add classes for my Winter Quarter session. My adviser recommended me to take a Math class soon so I can start my core classes. While looking for the appropriate class, I found a Math class that was opened. I was delighted by this discovery, and quickly added the class. Little did I know that this class was being offered in Winter Quarter of 1960. T_T Now I have to go back in time. Anyone have a spare time machine?
Finally beat the end boss in FTL - Faster Than Light ( )... on Easy ( ). I'm not even sure I want to try Normal now. I strongly recommend checking this game out on Steam.
First of all, I would like to thank Black Six for hiring me as a Forum Mentor. I'll be honest, I did NOT see Forum Mentor in my future here. If anything, I saw Reference Keeper. Regardless, FM was a pleasant surprise. Second, I would like to congratulate Windrider for his promotion. You seem to be working hard lately, so you totally deserve your rise to Forum Leader. I would also like to congratulate Ziko for becoming a Forum Assistant. Last but not least, congratulations to Eeko for becoming
Good news: GregF's done with his list of names for 2010-2011, as stated in his blog!
He's also requested those who got permission to send their own list of names, like BS01 for BIONICLE: New World, to him.
Sent our list few minutes ago.
There is an official poll in the Voting Booth.
Do you want Sand to be an Element in the Matoran Universe? In other words, do you want Matoran/Toa/Turaga of Sand?
Contacted Greg Farshtey outside of BZPower for various reasons and got some info on who the disguised Great Being from Chapter 3 of The Yesterday Quest is. Check out the topic I created to learn who it is!
Today, I attended a Day of the Dead celebration at my university. There was a lot of drum beating, so it was pretty easy to find the event. When I arrived, there was a crowd watching some traditionally-dressed up individuals dance to the beat of the drums. The people's dresses were very traditional; some had elaborate headgear while others wore black-and-white body paint on their faces, to signify the dead. After a while, a wooden coffin was lifted up and was carried away. The dancers and drumme
To all the bronies (and really everyone), please check your signature file sizes. Many of your banners exceed the 100 KB limit that BZPower has set. I have already found some that are 300-400 KB. It's already bad enough that I have a slow connection. Loading huge file sizes is worse.
Had a car accident on Thanksgiving day while heading home from college. There was a lot of traffic on the freeway, so the car (Scion TC) in front of me came to a slow stop. I in turn did the same thing with my SUV (Honda CR-V). Unfortunately, the truck (GMC Sierra) behind me did not. It slammed into my car. This caused my vehicle to strike the car in front of me. Fortunately, no one was hurt. The cars on the other hand took a beating. The trunk of my SUV no longer closes properly. I cannot l
My BIO Lab class got cancelled for today. Some of my classmates and I found out ten minutes after going to class. Apparently we were emailed two hours before about the cancellation. No wonder there were 8 kids in class. Hate.
New forum, new beginning. We can wipe the slate clean and start anew. This I like. It's going to take some time to get used to the changes around here. I got only one question though. How do you view all the topics in a forum? Or is it already set like that? I know the default was 30 days or something, but I am not sure about this... Anyways, congratulations BZPower and its staff. Here's to another ten years.
I hope that the plans to modify the word filter and the link-to-other-forums policy haven't fallen through. Will they be implemented in the near future now that the BZPower Forums are back up and running? It sounds like the word filter is much easier to change than coding a warning message asking are you sure you want to leave the forums.
Well, the Varian contest is almost done. Just two days ago, I sent a PM asking GregF to read the winner's entry, but his wife just delivered their first child (congrats Greg and Jackina! ), so it's going to be a while until he reads it.
In the meantime, we're thinking about our future contests. Usually, our order of contests is MOC, then story, then MOC, then story, etc. Since the Varian contest was a story one, we might try out a MOC contest. We already have an idea for one, but we need appr
