My cousin and I were in a biblestudy, and if we did our homework and stuff, we got to go to a Lego store at spring break. It's currently mine and my cousin's spring break, so we're headed up to Colorado Mills today. So yeah, I'm happy. I'll show you the loot I pick up when I come home. =D

Night Fury
Well, done for the season. Had our final robotics competition today... went for a long time, a lot longer than last year, but that's a good thing. You know why? We advanced into the semifinals.
We got 5th place. Which is such a jump from last year (15/16, because the 16th team didn't show for the last few rounds) to this, and we were in the first round pick for the champions to advance into the finals. We didn't last long but oh well, 5th place isn't bad.

Since I got some requests to do another epic in the same island/area/characters, I've been working on one. I am going to make book 2 about the Kraata packs and book 3 on something mysterious, but I've already come up with the plot, storyline, character arc and conclusion to book 3. Turns out an image named trollface.jpg doesn't go over too well on Majhost. I drew a quick sketch and it looked slightly like the troll face, so I named it trollface.jpg.
Tried uploading it something like 5 times and nothing. Rename and it goes up fine.

I think I'm going to be closing the Twisted topic. I seriously hardly have enough time for more important things in life, and Twisted honestly isn't extremely high on my priority list. There's a decent chance I'll turn it into a novel, but that will come later. Sorry guys. Seriously, I'd love to continue Twisted, but at the moment it's going on the back burner. After these classes finish (end of December) I may try it again. -Shad
Woohoo, it's snowing outside. The ground is all white.
But I want to build a snowman, and there isn't enough for that. Not really enough for a good snowball fight either. Sigh, this year has been a bleak year for snow... generally we get a few blizzards here and there that drop a few feet and then we can do a lot.

First, the Toa Mata come out. They're new, sleek, classic, but not much articulation. Hero Factory is released, sleek, cool, better than the Stars, but no additional articulation.

Evo and Surge 2.0 are amazing. I was planning to pick up Stormer 2.0 but Target didn't have him ;_;
Anyways, love these sets. While they might be a bit gappy and I dislike the conversion to minifig pegs from axles, the ball joint armor is nice. We've all seen the BZP review for Evo but not for Surge. I love his helmet. His gun is nice but I don't like how TLG had it connected, so I improvised. Absolutely love the armor layering.

Well, helping out with 2nd service at church was... eventful. Very much so.
I help out at 2nd service while I participate in the 1st one. My uncle does the flip, helping in the 1st and participating in the 2nd. Anyways, I run the computer, DVD player and projector, while my cousin (Ike vs Meta Knight) does the sound board and CDs, cassettes, etc. Well, after sunday school, I walk up into the soundbooth and hear this:

I just ordered a trampoline like, 3 minutes ago (with my Dads creditcard, with his approval of course). This tramp is a BEAST. 12 gauge stainless steel frame, 100 8 1/2" springs, and --best of all-- a 6 year warranty on EVERYTHING, and a lifetime on the frame! What a deal! Just so you know, our previous tramp was 19 gauge steel. (Oddly enough, the lower the gauge, the thicker the metal) We also calculated that 12 gauge is over twice as thick. Well, I got my first good sunburn of the year. Yow, my arms are sore. >.< That's what you get for standing on the roof of a big building, pulling nails out with a wonderbar and hammer. Yeah, it hurts. But on the bright side, I have a wicked tan too. And a paycheck soon.

WHY SPIDERS?? Seriously, I hate insects, and spiders are the worst. Don't give me the "Spiders are Arachnids" thing, I know. Anyways, it seems like it's spider season right now. In out rabbit room, there are 3 spiders, 2 of which are dismembered and dispatched, that are HUGE. Big, ugly, orange and tan things with no hair or fuzz on them. And there are webs... everywhere...
I can't wait for a flash freeze to kill these goobers. You know what should happen to these punks?
