Drained Masks

I've a question for those of you with the drained masks that come with the Skull Skeletons, the gold/transparent colour blended ones.   How much of a single mask is gold and how much of that same mask is transparent, for each of them?   My drained Mask of Jungle is only really gold on the bottom 'jaw' piece and in between the eye holes , the rest of it is transparent green.   The drained Mask of Earth I have, on the other hand, is only transparent purple above the eye holes - below them, it's go

Dimensions

I always thought it was weird we tried to attach a fourth dimension to some things. It's not as if we could really comprehend them - can a square comprehend a cube? Can a circle comprehend a cylinder?   I would guess 'no'. Which makes one wonder if three dimensions are required for life. Can a square be aware?   Which, if there is an exponentially increasing complexity per dimension added, makes me wonder how incomprehensible a fourth dimension would be to us. Probably 'entirely'.

In less than 24 hours (well, where I am, anyway), it will be 2016. Not just any 2016, the year 2016. The year that comes after 2015, if you're bad at counting. These new SW CCBS sets are HUGE. Well, Darth Vader is, anyway.   On the plus side, we finally see the longest CCBS bone make a reappearance, the first since Black Phantom, I think. Also surprised to learn that the lower leg 'add-on' is a shell, not an add-on. I guess it works for the longer bones better than the usual shells, though. Connectivity Issues

I'm having extreme difficulty with internet connectivity right now - switched to a different ISP. ISP said they'd 'connect' us between 08:00-13:00... yesterday. Phoned them up, and now they say they're going to connect us on the 9th, this Wednesday.   Now I'm posting this entry via wi-fi, which, while it is a pretty bad connection, is still a connection.   The stupid thing? Confidence

If there's one thing I've always lacked, it's confidence. That's not a bad thing despite what some will say.   Yet apparently, lack of confidence is a problem. When someone is confident and does good, it's 'determination'. When someone is confident and does bad, it's 'arrogance'.   I'd much rather doubt myself than be arrogant any day. Chrological Bionicle

It turns out that BIONICLE actually is returning next year.   I don't know what to think yet but I think we can all agree that Galidor should never be brought back, at least not until we get Tahuwindo, Lewaceilin, Pohatuflor, Onuawal, and Kopakarom to go with it. Here's hoping for innovation rather than re-using the same pieces in the same or very slightly different configurations or too many new pieces per wave. CCBStar Wars

Wow, those Star Wars figures are tall.   And the larger ones are really well designed.   Skull Scorpio's designer, how do you defend yourself?   Maybe it's just me but after seeing some of the better SW figures (pretty much every set that isn't Luke), I'm thinking that the BIONICLE set designers need to step up their game. Tahu looks gappy and awkward by comparison and IMO Tahu was one of the better bonkle sets of the first wave.

Canonization/Canonisation

As someone with no power over canonisation or canonization or shjugfdesjg or however you would like to spell it, I instead (head)canonize (is this what that means? I think so, tell me if I am wrong) the fact that nothing in BIONICLE G1 is canon, allowing it to be changed to one's whim. Unless we can canonise the fact that nothing is canon!
