Connectivity Issues

I'm having extreme difficulty with internet connectivity right now - switched to a different ISP. ISP said they'd 'connect' us between 08:00-13:00... yesterday. Phoned them up, and now they say they're going to connect us on the 9th, this Wednesday.   Now I'm posting this entry via wi-fi, which, while it is a pretty bad connection, is still a connection.   The stupid thing? Letters.

Today I received a letter from a place I don't know about stating that it had received a referral I didn't ask for from a doctor I don't know.   I never asked for a referral, I don't know this doctor, and I've never heard of this place.   This is reeking of something very suspicious and worrying to me.

In less than 24 hours (well, where I am, anyway), it will be 2016. Not just any 2016, the year 2016. The year that comes after 2015, if you're bad at counting. My Fellow Students At My School And Their Inability To Use Double-Doors

My school has this weird thing, almost like a curse, where only 1% of students can use double doors effectively. Even when there's a ton of people trying to go through a double door, people will only open one of the doors, with the other remaining almost ETERNALLY SHUT. Very few people actually open the other door. This, on certain days, will often cause a very slow moving queue to form. This also results in most of us being late for our lessons. Translucent Purple pieces are absolutely beautiful. We need more of them. They're not ugly like translucent orange (seriously, does translucent orange go with anything? BRILLIANT IDEA

The next BONKLE vehicle set should be a segway which transforms into a giant 2-handed hammer for its driverwielder.   Also, it should be made of Inika torsos. Pieces that break easily?

Is it just me or do several pieces of CCBS break as easily as the 2008-2010 pieces?   Particularly the 'small' ones that can be used as claws - like the Savage Planet claw and the Skull Spider leg. One of my Storm Beast's claws is already slightly loose despite it not much but stand around, same for both of Skull Slicer's... thing weapon. Once they're loose like that, they're probably going to break soon in my experience, and any attempt at moving them will likely make them fall off.

Boxes and Thinking

Why do people say to think outside the box?   We weren't thinking inside boxes in the first place. We could try thinking in the material that separates the inside of the box from the outside of the box, though. A Musing

What if Star Wars eclipses BIONICLE as the 'main' CCBS theme?   I mean, the licensing fees and the extra CCBS sets have gotta cut into BIONICLE's budget somewhat, haven't they? I can't really see BIONICLE lasting later than 2018 if Star Wars CCBS sells well, since it'll take priority. And from what I've seen, in the past few days alone Star Wars CCBS has sold very well in its first five days.

BIONICLE 2015 thoughts

Masks are way smaller than I was expecting. Also, what do skull spiders do? Other than make SPIDER NOISES. Tahu has a nice board and according to the packaging his name is Taxy in another language. Pohatu has a nice mask. Reminiscent of both 2001 and 2008 versions. Can not wait to see if this gear piece attachment can be used in other ways, is it compatible with other torsos? So... Who's your fave 2015 Toa?

I was looking for pictures of the BIONICLE 2015 summer wave yesterday or so, and I noticed pretty much all pictures of them had been taken down.   I think we've accidentally been discussing leaks from the Nuremberg Toy Fair without realising it.
