Skull Scorpio

Managed to pick up Skull Scorpio at a discount.   I know I mock this set every now and then but the stinger is more FUN than you'd expect. Though I'm not sure I've ever seen scorpions with stingers like that. It didn't even inject venom into me.   One good thing about the set: the torso is constructed nicely. The tail and legs make everything fall apart though, but the legs are actually quite easy to improve. Tail, not so much, but at least it's fun.   CCBS really needs an equivalent to the Y-

Skull Bonkles Adrenaline Modes and a G1 Image

Skull Basher

Its bashing function is a bit... wonky. Not as well done as Dragon Bolt's wings, which are done in a similar manner.   Not to mention the axes often collide with either each other or Skull Basher's horns quite a bit. It's not really a bashing function. More like 'Skull Clapper', if you ask me.   Still, Skull Basher pulls off transparent purple + solid purple + transparent orange + gunmetal really well. Translucent Purple pieces are absolutely beautiful. We need more of them. They're not ugly like translucent orange (seriously, does translucent orange go with anything? Remember Something About BZPower, Late 2008?

Quake Beast + Umarak the Destroyer

Quake Beast... easily the weakest of the three beasts, and the weakest of the entire summer wave. It looks awkward from the back and the side, only looking good from the front. The function isn't really that good, either - it's just swinging the crystal arm forward without much oomph. If you ask me - they should have used Skull Basher's function here instead of a gearbox. Also, the legs are only just barely supporting the body.   Umarak the Destroyer - the largest single figure G2 is ever going

Pyre is probably my favourite Supergiant Games game yet.   The music and art, as per usual, is stunning.   It's definitely very different to their prior games. Procrastination. Also, It Was Edible.

Every single time I get homework, I procrastinate. Even when it's apparently SUPER IMPORTANT HOMEWORK THAT YOU NEED TO DO AS SOON AS YOU GET IT homework.
