As someone who tries to remind everyone that Thanksgiving exists between Halloween and Christmas, I'm usually okay with new Thanksgiving specials being made. When I think of the Lifetime Network doing a Thanksgiving special, I would think it would have some sort of family drama that would possibly end with someone being murdered. This past weekend was one of the roughest I've had to work in a long time. I clocked out with roughly 84 hours of work over the last six days, and I worked afternoon to mornings through the whole weekend. I saw the sunrise four morning in a row. But thankfully its now over. Plus, it probably won't be as busy as it was on that weekend for the next few months at my job. It's all downhill from here. And I vacation in two weeks as well, so that's something to look forward to.

AGAIN! This is the second time in the last two or three months that I've become ill. This never happens to me. I usually only get sick maybe once a year. I don't know whats going on with me, but hopefully when I get better this time, I'll stay better.

So I went to my Barnes and Noble today, in the hopes of getting both Bionicle: Gathering of the Toa and Bionicle: Revenge of the Skull Spiders. They didn't have the latter yet, so I was only able to get Gathering of the Toa. At least they had it on the shelves, unlike when I went there to get Island of Lost Masks. I think I've stated this sometime before, but I really don't like ordering stuff online. I much prefer to go to a store and get whatever I need/want to get. This applies to Bionicle sets, video game consoles and games, books, and anything else I want to buy. Maybe its just a fear of having my info hacked and losing money from it, or maybe its something else. I'm not sure. After being a member of BZP for four years, I decided it was time to become a Premier Member. Now I've just got to get used to having a blog year round instead of one week out of the year.
...so I probably won't be doing any serious writing until the end of next week. I may be able to work on a short rough draft or two, but that depends on my schedule. I'm also trying to decide if I should work on the next chapter of my epic or if I should get started on my Short Stories Contest #8 entry. I kind of want to get started on the former, but I don't want to be pressed for time on the latter. Oh, what do I do?!
I made a Twitter account. After reading everyone's comments about it in my last blog entry and thinking about it for a while, I decided 'Why not?' and just went ahead and made it. Well, I can now say I've been on TV. I volunteered to go in at 5:00 A.M. this morning to help out at my job with a local news segment to promotion purposes. (I work at an amusement park, BTW.) I was there for two hours, where ten or so other employees and myself got to ride our ferris wheel for 20 minutes straight and play one of our games, all while being filmed by the cameraman. So I heard this story on the radio earlier today. A few days ago, a guy was burning garbage in a field when the fire began to grow out of his control. He decided that the best way to put it out was to run it over repeatedly with his van. Not the best idea, but it gets even worse.
