I'm going to be gone for two weeks, as I am going to OshKosh WI to volunteer at the EAA airshow. If there's anything anybody needs of me before I leave, message me and I'll try and get it down. At 3AM tomorrow morning, the bus pulls out and I am gone!
Some stories are like corn. It takes a few attempts and a few crops before you can grow the perfect earful. Also it takes a lot of time. Then some stories are like random roaches in the Walmart parking lot. Before you know it, they have run up your pant leg and are getting cozy with your privates.
RPG: Turns out describing locations without going, "It's a square. There's some tables. You eat food here. Move along" just doesn't cut it. I hate describing things without life in it. January of 2018 was the last time I was here. It's been a long time. Lot's changed. I broke a couple of times, picked myself up. Still kicking. Might write a short story or two. About something.
Well, it's a new year. 2017. Last year wasn't that bad for me. Made a lot of friends. Learned a lot. Got hurt a lot. Picked myself up a lot. Lot of good artists died, though; that was upsetting. I have a heart that aches for people that are hurting, that are in need, that need just a bit of help. I have a hard time saying no, because I never want to say no. I don't like denying people help. It just rubs me the wrong way. But as a result, I can end up getting myself wrapping up in events that I have no clue where they started or where they will end. But that's who I am. It's what I am. I help people. And sometimes I find myself suffering for it.
Gearing up for a return. Don't know what it will imply. My interaction with the BZPRPG is probably going to die off and stay dead, as I lack time for that. I may end up writing the RPGs I'm working on as stories instead. Expect more stories, period, anyways. Bionicle is a neat concept, and I would like to dabble in it more.
Ah, well, I went and did it, I became a Premier Member of BZPower. Why? Well, honestly it wasn't because of Bionicle. I had no idea what Bionicle was in fact when I first joined here over a month ago. No clue at all. I was told to come here for the BZPRPG, actually. That it was a better RPG to get into; active, semi-friendly, and somewhat competent moderators. Now I can vouch for the first one, but I haven't been around long enough to actually say anything on the last two promises made to me.
