Rob, aka Janus here on BZ, is like a brother to me.
He is seriously one of the greatest human beings on this planet, and I really love him dearly. He helps me through rough times and helps me see things in a wiser light. He helps me to keep believing and to hold on to good things, like dreams and love. So sometimes when I'm having a problem or a rough time, I just have to remember advice he's given me.
My life would honestly be pretty rotten without Rob in it!
So this is the Rob Appr
I've had a long discussion with Tufi - I'm not for revolutions and destruction and fighting; you guys know that. I've always been the guy who is all about love and harmony. And talking civilly with the Empress brought to light a number of textures to this whole sordid tale that neither of us had been aware of previously.
When Andrew first asked me some weeks ago to take up the mantle of Site Admin, my first question was "Shouldn't that spot go to Jen?" I'm not at all opposed to taking on an a

The Trans-Siberian Orchestra has instituted a contest encouraging fans to play one of their best songs, "Wizards in Winter," and make their own music video. Following the creation of this media, entrants must post it on a certain video-sharing web site and submit the url to the TSO.
The existence of the contest is, however, secondary in coolness to the fact that they've posted the sheet music for Wizards in Winter online in .pdf format! I've downloaded and printed out the piano music and
Tufi Piyufi is really rad. She is basically the coolest admin (but don't tell Black Six I said so), and is also a wonderful human being. Tuffinstuff rocks hardcore. So this entry is dedicated to her.
Discuss how awesome Tufi is here. B)
These are the albums I have purchased this month.
Mozart 250: A Celebration is an excellent three-disc set collection of selections from Mozart's sublime work, from Don Giovanni to the Marriage of Figaro and beyond. I still need to go buy that album that had the complete Requiem Mass in D Minor that I saw in Best Buy, though.
I'm listening to this one, The Essential Beethoven, as I write this, incidentally. You know any two-disc album that kicks off with the fifth symphony is amazing
Yes, I've delayed too long; thank you kindly
You are just the proper person to remind me.
Come, you are off to join the other boarders
In the King's prison, according to his orders!

There is only one bad thing about being an actor, and it is a nearly insufferable, agonizingly terrifying thing. This is the horrific torture device I call goop--known as "make-up" to some.
I do not understand how women can stand to put this stuff on their faces every day. It is literally frightening stuff; not only must the wearer deal with the incredible uncomfortable feeling of having slime all over his or her face, but he must also brave the horrible process of getting the stuff on in t
I was just thinking about something.
It started with thinking about this shirt, then thinking about how Ray totally has this shirt. Then I got to thinking about Ray (who wouldn't?). Then I got to thinking about how Ray, Andrew, [BANNED MEMBERS ARE NOT TO BE DISCUSSED], and I are the longest-running continuous DC-area Lego Convention attendees in the Bionicle community.
The starting point here is 2006. Some of the administrators went to BrickFests prior, but none have attended since. Th
Okay, someone needs to say it.
The Dark Knight wasn't all that great of a film.
Everyone on this site seems so obsessed with this movie; I do not understand why.
Yes, it was entertaining and had some nice cerebral elements which are rare in popcorn flicks, but there was nothing truly groundbreaking in the feature, and nothing very soul-searching either. It presented a nice amalgamation of techniques, both filmic and storytelling, developed by other people and other films. It is a
Everybody's always all like "oh noooo Black Six is so scary and intimidating" But look. Take it from me. Black Six is the biggest dork in the world. I mean he is hilariously dorky. Dude's a huge friggin' nerd. There is nothing scary about that guy. And even if he were, all you have to do is give him a beer and he becomes your best friend. LET ME SHOW YOU THE BLACK SIX I KNOW Guys......that's Black Six. He is a (lovable) DORK.
Led Zeppelin are several different kinds of awesome. There are the obvious reasons, such as John Bonham's thundering drums, Jimmy Page's frantic guitar, Robert Plant's charged vocals, and John Paul Jones' pounding bass. One can simply state "Kashmir," for example, to prove the band's godliness. Some reasons, however, are subtler. You ask, "what is one of these reasons?"
My friend, they wrote songs inspired by Tolkien.

Ninjo told me I should do it.
Omi told me I should do it.
I kept planning on doing it.
I just never got around to it...
That all changes now. Minutes ago, I paid for lifetime premier membership. And as you may have extrapolated, the good feeling of knowing you were able to help support a site you enjoy also comes with perks...such as the fact that this blog will not fall idle following the revocation of celebratory premier privileges.
Premier Membership: Helping out BZ and
Do you not like me, hate me, or find fault with things I do or have done?
With whatever means you most prefer (leaving a comment here, PMing me, IMing me, et cetera), please explain why so that I may strive to improve or rectify any misunderstandings.
What am I even doing posting this what am I even talking about what, how is this even pertinent anyway huh?
Although I do have a secret desire, to record this song, but release two versions: one, where I sing it as-is, and the second, with a woman singing it, and changing it to 'Tell Him About It.' Because it'd be doing my part to help smash the gender binary, and exorcise that ridiculous notion that 'the man has to make the first move; women can't go asking men out on dates or be the one to
After several months of absence, I am returning to the stage! Auditions last week went very well and I have been cast in our production of Tartuffe, the classic satire by Molière, as the officer who arrests that rapscallion Tartuffe in the final act. I am extremely happy to have landed a role in the production and looking forward to having as good a time in this theatre as I did in my previous troupe (though that will certainly require an immense amount of awesomeness; I have memories from my
http://www.filedropp...aydreambeliever (Click to listen or download) Davy Jones of the Monkees died today. This recording is in tribute to him, his great voice, and his legacy of wonderful music. I had the pleasure of seeing him and Mickey Dolenz performing live about a decade ago. Neither really got the credit they deserved as singers and musicians, and that’s a ###### shame. This tribute is also, incidentally, the return of Taped Headphones after a nearly year-long hiatus. Becca and I
Hey remember when I was considering getting on my public AIM name again I decided to do it, it's SCURVY SMEAG so come at me, everybody. Considering this an extension of my ASK project.
Doctor, doctor!
I'm in bed
Aching head
Gold is lead
Choke on bread
Underfed
Gold is lead
Jesus bled
Pain is red
Are goon
Grow go
Greasy spoon
You swoon
June bloom
Music seems to help the pain
Seems to cultivate the brain
Doctor kindly tell your wife that
I'm alive
Flowers thrive
