Kex stole a bunch of custom content block ideas from me...it seems only fitting that I would take an idea from him. As you can observe if you scroll down a tad, I've added a list of assorted bands whose music I enjoy. The list is in no particular order, and it's just a small sampling of my musical tastes, but I thought it would be a neat little thing to put up.
Also, while on the subject of this blog's content blocks, you may notice that I have rearranged the appearence of my blog somewha
So Andrew, aka Black Six, came to visit this past weekend. He and I only live a couple hours away these days, which is rad. I know we joke around lots on the forums, but don't be fooled. I adore Andrew! We jab at each other because we are friends.
Anyway the point of this entry was that we had a most bodacious time hanging out! But there is one problem. I miss him already! And I also miss Janus and LehvakLah and Darth Vader and Hahli Husky and Senjo and Friar Tuck and all of my excell
So now that the dust is settling and I’m back into the swing of things at home and work, I feel ready to detail the great adventure I had at the beginning of this month. DeeVee teased the trip and left a beautiful photo over in his blog, but only here will you find the full details (ha ha, just kidding; we will never ever disclose the full details of that week's beautiful depravity on BZPower ). 'Twas an adventure that spanned an entire continent, in which I set foot in six different states,
As of this posting I will be going on hiatus from BZPower and my work here indefinitely. My estimated time of return is mid/late December.
Love you guys - catch you all later.
I am annoyed.
Yesterday I displayed something of four-fisted action, the strip that went there and did it, the most LAWsomest thing of all. I also decided to adopt its pinnacle as my avatar and even bought 20x20 more pixels--they only cost a nickel, just like a certain something else.
Almost immediately, a bunch of other losers pulled the same thing. The copied me. You folks know I am the original. I am not someone who wants to copy others--I know and am comfortable with who I am (wh
Hey guys, it's kind of an open secret that I don't know anything about video games and really suck at them. I didn't grow up playing them, never had a console or any of that stuff as a kid, and when someone tries to make me play video games with them, I'm all like 'too many buttons i don't understand how to do this what i'm so confused.' I may only be in my twenties but I'm like 80 in mental years. But that's totally changing now, you guys. I finally got a video game console and I'm learni

The grocery was selling watermelons for three dollars So I got on my bike, rode up to the store, and got one. Then I schlepped it home in my basket and that was my dinner. I'm a 23-year-old adult with an full-time office job and my own house and this is how I live my life.
It has been three months since the last quarterly Text-Based RPG contest--and you, my fellow denizens of the RPG forum, know what that means. Indeed, RPG Contest #3 has officially begun! However, this time there's a twist.
No, no; I am not speaking about the addition of a theme (you can read about that in the Rules and Discussion Thread). Rather, I refer to the host: this time I am helping Black Six with the operation the contest this time. I am very honored to be selected to help host th
Kame is wonderful! For many reasons, but specifically this moment because he has ended a years-long quest of mine.
I may have previously mentioned my intense love of the English band The Kinks. They were a criminally underrated group of fantastic musicians and were far more influential than they're often given credit for--and due to their fade from the public eye, their albums are often very, very difficult to find these days. This is an incredible shame.
I've scoured and groped over th
It's the simplest of things to write a song about: A fellow imploring his love to ride out of their godforsaken hometown with him on his motorcycle, to the promise of a better future. Yet with the masterful playing of the E Street Band (Clarence Clemons' saxophone work is particularly riveting), the emotional singing of Bruce Springsteen, and the urgent drive of the team making their last-dist lunge for stardom, the simple, even adolescent concept was transformed into a masterpiece of a song th
Yeah, you'd better believe that within five minutes of that SBaHJ book being announced, I had bought a copy. Homestuck? Eh, it's all right. SBaHJ? Visionary.
I've got love for you if you were born in the 80's, the 80's
I've got hugs for you if you were born in the 80's, the 80's
I'll do things for you if you were born in the 80's, the 80's

Download here BZPower has always been really supportive of me over the years, as I've slowly learned how to effectively record music. My simple cover songs in the BZPowercast gave me my first real audience, Maddison (Nukaya) gave me my first radio airplay, and my outings as part of Taped Headphones with Becca (Hahli Husky) gave my my first legitimate musical collaboration. My early output was rudimentary and - let's face it - pretty awful. But you guys believed in me right from the get-go
Or, “Look I Bought New Toys”
Or, “Life in the Woods”
Seriously any of those titles would be pretty okay.
Regardless, thanks in large part to a gift card that contained five United States dollars and seventy-five cents, and Wal-Mart’s most excellent prices of $7.77 per deluxe-class Transformers toy, I purchased two new toys at this hour yesterday. I am quite pleased, because I like transformers toys.

Ol' Wawa induced a status of thought-provocation in my cerebellum. His preceding post portrayed a ponderous playlist of pieces purporting to personify his personage and presence. After some contemplation, I concocted one of my own. This is not a list of favorite songs, though some of mine did sneak in there, and all of them are definitely good (I am far too arrogant to allow a bad song status as a representation of me). I honestly tried to select ones that fit the categories. At any rate, I
