Final year of High School, yay. Should be the easiest year from what I've heard. We learn only about half the amount of subjects we did last year.
Unfortunately, just like past years, they again had kindergarten-level 'activities' for the first day. "In order to get to the treasure, you must first work as a team!!", "find the key to the treasure box in one of these cans!!", etc. I swear I'm not making this up.

Last year and the year before that, I went to a really cool comic-book convention in my area, around this time of year. Unfortunately it looks like Ka-Boom won't be happening this year. So that sucks. =(
In other news, I've been thinking about finally getting The Legend Reborn. Now that it's been out for a few months, I can ask for an objective opinion - is it worth buying? Would someone who doesn't know anything about the 2009 storyline be able to enjoy it?

Almost two years after I first read the graphic novel, I finally got to see the Watchmen movie. It was pretty much what I expected, definitely didn't disappoint.
Only thing I'd change is the soundtrack, which was kinda meh at times. But awesome movie nonetheless!

So, like, I was searching for a pair of socks around my room earlier, cuz, like, my feet were cold. To my surprise, I discovered I still have my AwesomeSocks™ from last summer - which I never really wore, except for two minutes when I took that photo. And then I was like "heck, why not". And now I'm wearing them and I feel awesome. B)
Plus, it makes my job easier, cuz now instead of pressing that boring-secret-topic-closing-button, I can just kick a topic and BAM.

Got some other stuff, too - Ghost in the Shell: After the Long Goodbye (book), Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack (DVD), and Dynasty Warriors: Gundam 2 (game; can't believe it took me so long to get it...)
