Last year and the year before that, I went to a really cool comic-book convention in my area, around this time of year. Unfortunately it looks like Ka-Boom won't be happening this year. So that sucks. =(

 

 

In other news, I've been thinking about finally getting The Legend Reborn. Now that it's been out for a few months, I can ask for an objective opinion - is it worth buying? Would someone who doesn't know anything about the 2009 storyline be able to enjoy it?

I think you'd enjoy it more not knowing about the 2009 storyline since there's the occasional inconsistency. It holds together rather well as a standalone movie and in my opinion it was a definite cut above the original trilogy.
