Man... The museum was a disappointment. I expected huge rooms filled with the terra cotta warriors all line-up like they had been found in the tomb of the first Chinese Emperor. Instead, I am doubting whether or not the ones displayed were even real. They were all much smaller than real people, but the audio tracks accompanying them described them as being about 25% larger than a real person. To add to the lameness, it took Mom and I 30 minutes to find parking and we had to wait i

I'm going to some museum today for extra credit in history. They have terra cotta warriors there... I have to write up a report on them afterwords. School stinks...

Check out Tahuri's blog. He has an awesome music player as well. Unfortunately, BZPower caps the Flash image size at 200 x 100 pixels, otherwise we could make these types of things so much cooler. Ah, well they are still awesome.

I decided to make a wallpaper for my computer that matched my avatar and banner. Here is the image. I think I will make more for each character for Fantastic Five. Tah and I really should start working on that.

In case I haven't mentioned it before, A website called Woot Shirt has a weekly shirt designing contest and they always sell the winning designs. This week's theme was pets. Here is my entry:

Well... I didn't really do anything today even though we had the day off from school. I was way to tired from practice this morning. My mom bought me an Obama shirt though, so that's cool. Maybe I'll go bowling or something with some friends tomorrow night. Having school tomorrow stinks, but at least we have a chem lab, so there's a plus. Well, off to Photoshop to mess around.

Okay, so today in English, our teacher decided (since, accordion to her, we are a class of failures) how to write a proper one-chunk MLA, Jane Schaffer patented, super stupid, paragraph for a MLA, Jane Schaffer patented, super stupid essay. She gives us a paragraph that she wrote herself. It was utterly horrendous. Terrible... Unrealistic vocabulary and bad syntax. Lame quotations, and contradictory ideas. The whole period we went on telling her what was wrong with her essay, as

The other day, after my meet (We won!) My dad and I were watching the Vice President Debate, and I noticed the following;
Palin kept referring to Change, the subject of Obama's entire campaign this past year,
and
She stated that she and Senator McCain will "... not just talk the talk, but walk the walk." A statement used by Obama the previous week in his debate, and multiple times during campaigning and the Democratic National Convention. Anyone else notice this or anything

Let me warn you... It's ugly. I finally found this on my computer thanks to Google's Picasa. What an amazing program.
Sorry, it is a bitmap, I was not very smart then...
In other news, I am now the tied for being the fastest person on my cross country team with my friend Stephen. He dominates hills, flat courses are my specialty. Flat course tomorrow, thank goodness. I also may have someone to go to homecoming with. Our football team is doing terrible, and my Cross Count

Sorry, I was to tired after my meet Saturday to post this, I played Brawl all day with friends Sunday, and yesterday I was extremely busy with schoolwork... I came in 6th in my race, thats the sophomore race. I got a stitch in my side on the first hill, so I was pretty upset. Oh well, maybe next race I'll run a little better.
Anyway, here are some highlights of the past days:
-Line Rider is out for the iPhone/iPod Touch
-Fringe is awesome
-House is back

To get to the point, I had a beaker with a cuprous nitrate solution in one hand, and a beaker of a pretty basic base in the other, I walked past my teacher and as I did so, he bump my hand with his while pointing another student to the paper towels. I spilt the nitrate all over my hand, but he thought I spilled the base. He pulled me over to the sink while murmuring "I'm sorry!" a thousand times again. I thought he was having a heart-attack with the look he had on his face. Anyway

Well, it has been a few days since I have blogged... School is so boring this year, I cannot wait for all the extra activities to start, such as the football games. I don't care much for watching it, as our team is terrible, but its just a fun time to get together with friends. Yesterday I got my first taste of what AP World History will be like, I worked from 4:00 to 11:00 almost continuously on some lame assignment.
But, the main thing I would like to talk about is last Saturd

This is a first for my team, usually the paper says something along the lines of, "Simi is expecting to be crushed again this year by rival school Royal."

I went to bed yesterday at 9:30... I was wiped, that is the earliest I have gone to bed in a long time. After I woke up and ate breakfast this morning, I fell asleep on my bedroom floor. BOOM BOOM, my sister's knock on the door awoke me, "I said we're leaving early today!" she exclaims.
Shoot... I scramble to get ready and in five minutes I am gurgling mouth wash as I walk down the driveway toward her car. I spit it in the rosebush (our secret), and toss my running gear in bac

I awoke- sweaty, startled, and yet, it was cold, freezing. A cruel metaphoric reminder of the day ahead...
Okay, so today may not have been that dramatic, however it sure was exhausting. Once I arrived at school, I went over to the gym to see what my first class was, from there we would receive our full schedules. Score! English, first period, and Tahuri's in my class. Next I headed to my locker, placed my heavy Chemistry book inside and locked it up for the first time, then,

...is a right, right? Tomorrow I and my peers lose our freedom. School starts, and my life as I knew it dwindles away. I become a hopeless, useless shell of a man, a zombie to the corruption and greed of the school district. On the plus side, I don't have to make my own lunch!

I will do this once a month from now on. Toranova has had the most comments in my blog, and hence I feel he deserves some recognition. Toranova, this is yours;

This past weekend was the last one of the summer. Shame. Because of this, my friend invited my to spend the night, the last time for a long while. When I got to his house, we started off just watching television and stuff, then we started watching Wargames. We went to his grandmother's house along with his extended family for dinner, and we got to watch the Men's Marathon for the Olympics. 2:06:something... Incredible. When we got home, we finished Wargames then watch the seque
