So I've put my 3HP Cave Story run aside for now. Instead, genius that I am, I decided to start a NEW run, this time on 3HP AND minimal items.
I'm stuck on Monster X. Duh. Managed to get him down to where I could hurt him, ONCE, then got hit by a @*(&^!! fish missile. I hate those fish missiles. I have developed awesome skillz at killing masses of Gaudis without picking up experience, however. This is important because I like my blade Level 2. It damages fast

Only some more refinements left for Shana herself! Gotta color the lineart and I want to bring up the contrast on some of the shading. After that I want to give it a halfway decent background. Wings of fire weren't as bad as I thought they'd be.
Anyway as you can tell I was pretty liberal with duplicating and adding layers here.

Also, got rid of the virus! It seems that, of all things, Windows Defender did it, but I'm reluctant to believe that for the obvious reason that it's, well, Windows.
But darnit, I'm still glad.
Classes, at least. All that's left is the Physics field trip (to Six Flags. Yeah. We'll be doing loads of "physics") and Senior Society (aka go volunteer somewhere instead of going to classes. No homework, no tests, I'm perfectly fine with that).

Well, in actuality, not quite. There are a couple things I want to tie up with the epilogue, and I'd like to end on a bit of a different note. The epilogue really could have been just chapter 21, but considering that it's less than half the length of any of the other chapters, and all the main story threads were concluded...

Although being the coward I am I generally avoid any roller coasters taller than my house, today I went to Six Flags (Great Adventure) with a friend('s family) and ended up being forced onto most of the big coasters there.
As it turns out, they're not so bad! Also as it turns out, inversions are not what I'm afraid of (they're fun!), I just don't really like the huge drops (first drop of Nitro = OHMYGAWDOHYMYGAWDOHMYGAWD).

I'm back, and glad to be. Had a great time on vacation, but it's nice to get home.
Disney World + Sea World + Universal was awesome, lots of fun. Sunday, Epcot; Monday, Sea World; Tuesday, Magic Kingdom (best day); Wednesday, Universal Studios; and yesterday, MGM (best night show).

Paycheck arrived today. I earned a raw amount of $296.88 but after tax it was $247.48. Which is really weird. 'Cuz Poli, she worked the same job, we carpooled, she had the morning shift and I had the afternoon, but because she called in sick one day and I had to go in early a few hours, I ended up working more hours than her even though she supposedly should have worked 15 minutes more per day. So anyway, I ended up making less than her because she got taxed $5.24 federal tax and I got taxed $19

Okay so I've got it down to 4, basically... Columbia, CMU, Maryland, and Rutgers.
Columbia and CMU are both about 50,000 a year. Maryland is... 30,000 or 20,000 I think, and Rutgers is free.
Columbia, obviously, is an Ivy. For CMU I got into Computer Science and CMU is definitely among the top for CS... but I have to know I really want to do CS because you can't really pursue anything else but CS with a CS degree. I also can't say I'm too hot on Columbia's
Most of these are downloaded, some are default, and it's something less than half of my entire font list, but the others are all boring or repetitive: these are the coolest in my opinion.

Uh. Oh, yeah. Wednesday was a snow day, which contrary to belief really sucked. See, we have no allotted snow days this year, so if we have one, then we lose a day off somewhere else. In this case, today we would have not had school, but instead we had off on Wednesday. I mean, really, a four-day weekend is so much better than a day off in the middle of the week and then a three day weekend

Missed the live because of school (by only an hour, too; if I'd know this'd happen I mighta taken the day off. I do legitimately have a cough...). LQ raw torrenting right now. Saw the new ED already.
Disappearance and all the suchstuff surrounding it was definitely my favorite story from the novels. Looking forward to it muchly. ^^

Oh yah the MoC I mentioned last entry. It's "finished" so to speak (the process of modification and tweaking tends to be infinite) and I'm really proud of it. However, I'd like to first see if there's an LGD contest being planned any time soon before I post it.
My dad asked me if it would be cool to have a Blackberry and I said, "Yeah, I guess so," so he bought me one. O_O
On that note there is now a growing number of wires strewn about the floor near my computer. Cords for the external drive, the cord for my MP3 player, and now several cords for the Blackberry.
I was hoping this one gadget could replace my MP3 player though... but that's not gonna happen until it gets more storage space. 240 mB is... not a lot. I don't listen to much music, but

In case you haven't been reading this blog, 52-pickup is a comedy I've been writing, and a project I've been pretty excited about.
The chapter up right now is one I already posted in this blog, so nothing new so far... depending on how quickly I can work on chapter 5, I might put chapter 2 up during the week. I do want to stay ahead, though. It's always dangerous when what I've posted has caught up with what I've done.
