Okay, so if you're comparing two things, you have to use the comparative, e.g. "Comparing the red car and the blue car, the red car is faster," and you can't say "the red car is fastest."

They're fascinating, aren't they? Kinda reminds me of what George Orwell pointed out in 1984... that a language can basically shape your way of thinking. So about a week ago we're in robotics class and we're out in the hall, 'cuz we're testing our robot, right? If we tried it inside the room MAX would immediately plow into half a dozen chairs and the table. So we've got an entire workstation that we essentially drag out into the hall each class, including four wheely chairs for each member of our group, a small desk with wheels for the laptop, and way too many cables, extension cords, and adapters to keep track of.

Yah so I doodled up something the other day which I figure I may as well enter into the weapons contest.
But it needs a name.
It's a blaster-type-thingy, you know, generic energy shooter, with a shield/guard attached to it. Fits over the hand/forearm. Ambiguous controls inside. Fancy mechanical pencil hatching, but that's not important.

Think about it. What if an event happened, say, for example, let's have a throwback to Mr. Robert Frost, what if two roads diverged into a wood and you had to choose which one to take? Words that end in vowels are just more dramatic.
Perhaps because you can't really do a long drawn-out consonant. You can scream "NOOOOOOOOO!" or "WHYYYYYYY!" or "CURSE YOUUUUUU!" because they end in vowels (or vowel sounds). I suppose you can also do "COME BAAAAAAAACK" but it's just the -ck at the end sorta disrupts the effect of the "AAAAAAAAA," if you know what I mean. It's harsh and abrupt.
