You don't want this to happen.
So seeing as recently a topic for each of the library forums has popped up in GD, esp. on the subject of how little attention stories are receiving these days, that got me thinking a bit... from my own experience, I'd like to say that perhaps part of the fault lies on neither the writing nor the readers... but the formatting.
Like, look here, see what I just did? I double-returned between paragraphs. Why do I do that? Well, because it keeps this blog entry--
FOUR FINALS OVER AND DONE WITH.
JUST ONE LEFT.
And so far I think I did really well on all of them.
...'cept one math problem that I think I screwed up on. v-v
BUT OH WELL. THERE'S STILL THE REST OF THE TEST AND THAT'S JUST FIVE POINTS.
WHOOOOOOOOOPEE! Another multiple choice section, an essay, and I'm HOOOOOOOOOME FREEEEEEEEEE!!!
Oh yeah.
I figure this is rather more understandable than the last entry
Please vote me the keeper of the reaper
I wanna be the keeper of the reaper
His skinny white bones are mine to owns
To do with as I see fit
Give him to me and I promise my love won't quit.
I disagree 'bout the keeper of the reaper
It should be me who's the keeper of the reaper
Grim's not a toy for an [cool dude] boy
Who can't even tie his shoes
If Billy wins then we all surely lose.
Don't I get a say in the keeper of the reaper?
I'll make you all pay for the keeper of the reaper!
Classes, at least. All that's left is the Physics field trip (to Six Flags. Yeah. We'll be doing loads of "physics") and Senior Society (aka go volunteer somewhere instead of going to classes. No homework, no tests, I'm perfectly fine with that).
That is all.
YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!
EXCUSE TO DRAW BIOMECHANIZED SHARKS!
I absolutely refuse to draw a mermaid.
REFUUUUUUUUUUUSE!
But yeah. I'm working on it. 'Tis going to be fun. >=D
I have no idea if I spelled that correctly.
I just gotta make note of one of the oddest occurences that I've seen at least more than once here on BZP.
Say, a member called "BZP Person1" starts an art topic.
First post:
BZP Person1
Hey, this is my drawing.

Second post:
BZP Person1
Wow, awesome drawing man!
Is this siblings sharing the same account or does this person honestly think he or she can fool someone into thinking the first person to post in their t
Doodled on English notes, vector'd in Photoshop.
I also made another agenda doodle in the Oct 31 box, and gave that a quick color too.
Aaaah Nia is so much fun to draw! Altho the tiny scale I've gotten used to doodling things on isn't exactly doing wonders for my detail work.
So I set both my alarms last night, for 5:05 and 5:15. Turn it up to max volume. I wake up to hear my clock beeping and go "Great, I woke up at the planned time!"
Look at the clock, it's 5:58.
I SLEPT THROUGH
I'M GOING TO DISNEY WORLD!
YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!
I'm sooooo excited.
I'll be gone 'till Friday.
Oh, and evil? Thy name is spring break assignment.
IT'S CALLED SPRING BREAK FOR A REASON!
Ah well. For seven days, I'm going to forget about homework. Bring along the sketchbook. Maybe a couple good books.
It's gonna be AWESOME.
Slightly regret that I'm going to miss April Fools, but I'll find out what happened when I get back.
See ya!
So I've got this Latin worksheet for homework and there's this one question, "Copy out and give line numbers for all the words related to snakes or snake imagery in this passage."
... what? Uh, well, aside from the fact that the entirety of lines 203-215ish are describing these two snakes... uh... I mean, what are they looking for?
Obviously "angues," "serpens," and "dracones" since those words literally mean "snake" or "serpent," but what else? Do they want me to mention the "immensa volu
Well, in actuality, not quite. There are a couple things I want to tie up with the epilogue, and I'd like to end on a bit of a different note. The epilogue really could have been just chapter 21, but considering that it's less than half the length of any of the other chapters, and all the main story threads were concluded...
In any case, final chapter of 52-pickup.
Although I thought I was done writing it over spring break, I ended up still making several revisions last night as I thought
Something that's interesting to think about: Given the same beginning circumstances, would the same ending occur? Inevitably?
Think about it. What if an event happened, say, for example, let's have a throwback to Mr. Robert Frost, what if two roads diverged into a wood and you had to choose which one to take? And you think, and you mull it over, and the wind blows, leaves rustle, and you finally decide on the road less travelled.
Now, let's say time rewound, back to the moment as you were
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is sitting on my dorm room bed right now.
I haven't even been able to muster the concentration to realize the sheer magnitude of this event in popular literature. I'm far too sleepy. I'm sure tomorrow I'll wake up fully refreshed and say to myself: "OH MY GOsh I OWN THE SEVENTH HARRY POTTER BOOK." Right now my brain is just sorta buzzing "cool..."
I'm not even yawning or anything... it's a really weird feeling, but I can't describe it right now because
I don't often post new art anymore. It's because as my patience increases I spend more time on each piece. I used to turn out a piece a day, but it was generally terrible. Now I turn out something if I get inspiration now and then and if I really think it came out well. It takes a lot longer, and often several sketches.
It's odd though. I post something decent hopefully once a month. And now people seem to think I'm someone new to the forum whenever I do. I get posts treating me like I just a
52-pickup, updated on Sundays as always...
Since I doubt many people will find the above link interesting I may as well do this again.
Oh yeah, today's episode of Rideback was amazing.
Somebody on our bus smokes. It's the most annoying thing. Well, for starters, it's ILLEGAL, and it's just... ugh.
I mean, it's disgusting. EVERYONE on the bus smells it, and it's obvious, and... geez...
I'm one of those people who's absurdly paranoid about secondhand smoke, too. I hold my breath when I walk past people smoking outside stores. And it really sucks when it's freezing outside but we have to open all the windows on the bus to vent out the smoke.
I just hate people like that.
Resolution is terrible, but you can make out "Kyoto Anime-shon" on the last line of the Staff credits.
So I guess it's final, K-On is KyoAni's spring show. Not that they can't work on two shows at once (they're doing so this season) but Munto TV (which actually has a stupidly long full name) is basically an OVA remake... makes the news of Haruhi S2 even less likely.
I'm still holding out on the fact that, well, they devoted the whole darned front cover of Newtype to the announcement. They'
... however I'm really annoyed because I had a screenshot of the error message and Photoshop for no reason whatsoever crashed on me and simply closed without even giving me an error or not responding. Probably has to do with the virus scan I'm running... which is annoying enough in it's own right by completely murdering my CPU and the stupid antivirus programs are practically worse than viruses anyway and STUPID @*(&(*!&!! AAARGH HATE HATE HATE okay I'm done. Plus it's not giving me the
Okay, so let's get up to speed here... starting from the end of July 2006, which is close enough to the last blog entry.
The first major event worth notice that occured after the last entry of last year was that I took a 3-week trip to China with my parents and my sister, who is 4. It was interesting to say the least. We definitely had a lot of fun, but it's a lot of the little things that you really notice...
Funny story, I once got myself lost in the subway system whilst in China. My par
And I keep forgetting to mention them in favor of posting random ramblings. I wonder why.
First off a classmate of mine was elected to the school board! Pretty cool, eh? The day after the elections everyone was congratulating her so much I think she was utterly sick of it by the end of the day. XD English class kept getting interrupted. We received like five phone calls and then a photographer (with a really loud rapid-fire camera) from the Star-Ledger came and snapped photos for the last hal
Do I really have to think about the maximum deceleration a skydiver with a parachute failure could survive while I'm doing physics?
Or how long a rock climber has to live when he falls off a 50 meter cliff?
