We're continuing to work on getting BZP back up to full strength, so bear with us. If you don't know what I'm talking about, read this topic. Since apparently people did like this idea I guess I'll continue with these updates. I would have posted this one earlier but I picked up Hellgate: London this week and it's been sucking up a lot of my time while I haven't been putting out fires on BZP or working.
So, this week there were a couple instances of spammers getting onto BZP and posting some very inappropriate images and messages. Fortunately we were able to respond very quickly and ban the members and remove the images and content

I know I said I was going to try to post entries more often, but there's a perfectly good reason why it been a while since my last update: a little game called Halo 3. My last entry was on September 20th and Halo 3 came out on the 25th. In between those dates I was visiting some friends at school and beating Bioshock (great game). There's a con like me in every prison in America, I guess. I'm the guy who can get it for you. Cigarettes, a bottle of brandy to celebrate your kid's high school graduation. Darn near anything, within reason. Yes sir, I'm a regular Sears & Roebuck. So, as I mentioned in my previous Weekly Update, I went away last weekend; this was the first vacation-type thing I've had in a while, even though it was only for two days. A friend of mine has a cabin on a lake in Western Connecticut, nice and secluded, not too busy. He invited me and a bunch of our friends up there for the weekend, so we drove up Saturday morning and came back Sunday night.
It was a real fun time. He has a boat with a tube for tubing, a couple kayaks, and even a little sail
Last weekend was Major League Gaming's second event of 2007, which took place in the Meadowlands in New Jersey. Being a short trip away and a huge Halo fan, I of course stopped by to watch the pros do their thing. In my mind, gaming has recently gone to a whole new level, there are people making a living off of playing games competitively, and people like me who watch it and follow it almost as if it's a sport.
