Weekly Update - 6/12
Intro
What if we could send a man back in time seven days... Then I'd have to do last week's update all over again! Instead, you get to read this all-new one.
Updates
So on Saturday last week we had our first summer set review, which was, of course, Mata Nui. I think Pat (Darth Vader) did a great job. We'll of course have more Glatorian Legends reviews coming up, as well as the vehicle sets once they're available.
On the story front, Riddle of the Great Beings: Chapter 5 was released this week. Check it out if you haven't already.
LEGO Stores have been making a lot of news lately. This past week Benjamin (ChocolateFrogs) made it to the Annapolis, MD store opening and got some nice coverage. In July we'll be seeing some stores open in Texas and Oklahoma. Word on the street is that BZPower Global Moderator Toaraga will be at the Dallas one and Forum Assistant InnerRayg and possibly Blog Assistant Darth Vader will be at the Oklahoma City one. I also found out that there will be another store opening at the Garden State Plaza in Paramus, NJ. You can bet that I'll be there, whenever it is.
Also, if you live in the UK, you should go preorder Bionicle: The Legend Reborn and get yourself the exclusive Click set. Word has it that if you live outside the UK you can still order it, but without free shipping. I don't know if that includes the set or not though. The disc may also be region-encoded so you can't watch it everywhere.
In other news, work has been progressing on our next project. The only thing I'll tell you is that it addresses something that BZPower Members complain about frequently. I think I'll leave it at that.
Mailbag
1. Who would you like to see become Lego Ambassador if you don't get re-elected.
2. Why do you write on top of a quote when reponding to messages?
3. What do you look for in your mailbag questions?
1. Well since the only other person interested in the job that I know of is ChocolateFrogs, I think he'd do a fine job.
2. It makes more sense to me. This way you see what the person is saying without having to scroll all the way through the stuff you wrote. It's just like how emails work.
3. I look for people to ask them.
Want to see your questions answered? PM them to me and put 'Mailbag' in the subject line. I'll pick the few I like the best and answer them in the next update.
Conclusion
And now we're done for the week. I hope everyone has a great weekend! As always, leave some comments and feedback and such!
