In other news, today kinda sucked.
- This morning at work, the job I had to do failed hard because I couldn't control the muscles in my fingers.
-- After physical therapy (<3), the key to my bike's lock snapped when I tried to open said lock. Had to carry my bike back home, which defeats the purpose of having a bike in the first place.
--- I was working along on Photoshop, having a surge of creativity and the urge to work out a design without saving it. My computer fricking died. Aga
I really hate my computer.
- It runs slow, stopping stuff like Firefox, Outlook, WLM and Winamp dead in their tracks at times.
- The graphics card makes simple programs like Lego Digital Designer crash.
- When I want to watch videos online or convert offline videos from one format to another, the entire computer shuts down in an instant.
I've done everything I could think of, aside from re-installing WinXP. All drivers are up to date, too.
A couple of days ago, I finished playing Dragon Age: Origins. Yes, oh yes. The game was amazing. The decisions you make, aren't always black or white. So yeah, it makes you think.
As in earlier BioWare games, Dragon Age: Origins has a Big Reveal near the end, which forces you to make a difficult decision.
Well played, BioWare. Well played...
Okay, so the current song of the moment is a love song. As always!
Anyway, it's a theme song as well, namely the theme song for the movie "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon".
I am, of course, speaking of "A Love Before Time" by the singer Coco Lee.
If the sky opened up for me
And the mountains disappeared
If the seas run dry, turned to dust
And the sun refused to rise
I would still find my way
By the light I see in your eyes
The world I know fades away
But you stay.
As t
Yeah, Dragon Age Origins is very, very awesome. I'm not very far, but I am impressed.
Also, Blood Dragon Armor, which is available in Mass Effect 2 as well. B)
(Didn't I use that title already? Whatever...)
Anyway.
I didn't receive any christmas presents did year. Neither did I give them.
My mother and I couldn't really be bothered. Besides, we bought a new convection oven.
I did buy something for myself though. It's a book.
Halo: The Cole Protocol.
Been looking for it for some time. Glad I finally got it.
Won't be in the Christmas spirit this year, for a variety of reasons.
1.) My dear grandfather passed away last year around this time. It still feels so unreal...
2.) It's been a pretty ohsnapcruddy year, what with failing college and all.
3.) Feeling kinda lonely without my love. But patience is what I require and is what I will show.
Fortunately, not everything was bad. Old friendships were rekindled, I'm going to receive the help and support I need and there is no Winter depression
At work, we were promised cake by a guy who provided us with work for the past year, as a thank you.
He didn't show up with the goodness...
So again, the cake...
WAS A LIE-
So yeah, it seems I have Saints Row 2 for my 360.
Game is awesome and looks much better than the first game.
{Age rating is 18+ due to strong violence and criminal themes. Huh, who knew...}
