Fields Of Rock, Part 2

The sixth name has been confirmed: KoRn.   My friend just bought the tickets for the Saturday event; So that means we'll skip Sunday, the day that has Ozzy as one of the headliners.   Oh well, at least I still get to see Iron Maiden.

In Fanati

Time for a new blog entry, I guess...   I finally picked up the Guns n' Roses/Bloodsimple/Stone Sour photos yesterday with IXI accompanying me. Also picked up a BoA album.   I was glad that the photos were pretty cheap, but I got rather disappointed that the pictures weren't the best. So much for a decent post or topic about them...   On a slightly better note, I'll be receiving 3 of the orders next week. I'm very curious about the Jade Empire soundtrack.   Also posted a showcase in Artwor

Mmm... wine... *takes a sip*   ...   Alcohol-free, herbal wine, that is. Awesome taste. 't Was my mother's birthday, explaining my lack of activity today. Happy 53rd birthday, Mom!   She got a very nice present from me: The latest album from the Eagles.   Like with my birthday, there weren't many people. 't Was very enjoyable though.   -------------   *gargle*   -------------   *hic*   -------------   Anyway, yeah. Three orders this time with various delivery times in the next few w

A Trip.

My trip to Nijmegen was fun, especially because we took some wrong turns and ended up in the wrong place. My bad. xD   Anyway, when we were there, I bought myself a cool axe. It wasn't sharpened, but I didn't mind.   I also bought some special editions of some great albums.   The Divine Conspiracy by the Dutch symphonic metal band Epica is an album you have to experience. Almost all of the songs are just so..amazing. A must-buy. Really. Do itt!!! *cough*   Once by Nightwish is still a fantas

Not The Nicest Guy

Went to see Lordi in Amsterdam last week and, well, it was awesome. Lordi played a lot of great songs, with Devil is a Loser, Get Heavy, Hard Rock Hallelujah, Would You Love a Monsterman and Biomechanic Man being some of them.   Lordi almost sounded like they sound on an album, making them another recommendation when you want to see a great concert.   They even brought their own circular saw and unfolding wings.   ----   I'm feeling pretty tired now, having gone to 2 events in less than 7 da

Lady Galaxy

I knew I forgot something. I should've picked up the movie Taegukgi: The Brotherhood of War today. I ordered this week and it arrived at the music store today. Oh well, going to have to do that next Monday.   -----  As you might have noticed, I changed the name of my blog. Made in Twenty (20) is the title of BoA's newest Japanese album, as you can see in my new profile picture. Made in Twenty/Two (20/2), however, is simply the edited version of the album title, basically a 'second version'.

Legendary Cars In Burnout Paradise.

(...I really should make a Games category.)   Last month, some amazing cars were released for download in the game Burnout Paradise.   I managed to get my hands on them and today, we'll take a nice look at them. I'll also share my experiences with you. (The XBOX 360 versions, that is.)   First up is the Jansen P12 "88 Special".   Picture 01. Picture 02.   The 88 Special is inspired by the DeLorean time machine from the Back to the Future movie trilogy.   It's a stunt car with a reasonable

Of Music, Filters, Feelings, Hair And Adoptions...

Time for a normal entry as opposed to my last one. BoA's 2008 calendar arrived last week-ish. Oh how beautiful it is... I'll take some pictures later.   Oh, by the way, my income has increased quite a bit. Right in time too, because BoA's new single has been announced for release in December. (The title isn't known yet.) I preordered it along with a first press(!) edition of her older single Sweet Impact. Both with posters.   ------   I'm a bit 'disappointed' with the "Bionicle Legends" wor

Old Art

Sometimes I look back at my old art and old "art" and I chuckle. Or groan, depending on the 'art'.   Chuckles are generally positive. Groans are bad, as in "What the hay was I thinking?" or "It seemed like a good idea at the time."     Chuckles: 001. 002. 003. 004. 005. 006. 007. 008.   These are nice, too (*double facehoof* for the text plastered on 'em >/)(\< ): 009. 010. 011. 012.   Groans: 013. 014. 015. 016. 017. 018. 019. 020.
