I participated in a survey a long time ago, which was one I don't remember. I got a phone call about that yesterday... <.< It seems that there's a car to win with that survey and it also seems that I went through to the next round.

As you can see, I've changed the title and subtitle of my Blog.
The title is basically a mix of two of my interests.
"Conversations from the..." hails from Halo 2. More specifically, it's derived from the title of a bonus booklet from the limited edition of Halo 2. The booklet is titled Conversations from the Universe.
"Galaxy" is a part of the title from one of BoA's newer songs. The title is Lady Galaxy and is featured on the album Made in Twenty (20).
The subtitle is a mix between
...or lack thereof.
For the past years, there has been a period in the year where I feel very lonely. So lonely it makes me depressed.
This period is from October 9 (my birthday) to a few days into the new year.
Strangely enough, I don't have it this year.

The contest has been entered. Not all too happy with the pictures and 'costume'. [i have removed my image, due to its general cruddiness.] Will have to see if I can enter another costume. Pics will have to wait until after the weekend, since the camera has some issues.
About the title.....don't ask.
So....yeah. One of my orders got split up, so it was shipped in 2 parts. Bummer. <.<
The first part has arrived, though. It consists of the singles Scream and Sweet Impact, both of which are sweet. The other part is the Complete Clips 2004-2006 DVD, which got shipped out today.

Didn't go to work today, took some time to go to take a stroll along the seashore and hike along one of the local docking peers. You know, to clear my mind of negative and traumatic stuff. And it worked, kinda. I always find it relaxing to take a walk along the shore. The sound of the waves breaking onto the beach... The seagulls who are looking for food (and who try to s-bomb you on occasion)...
It's also one of the best looking places in my hometown. We get a view of 3 out of the 5 islands

Anyway.
I pre-ordered the new Star Trek DVD. Actually, it's a limited 2 disc edition with a model of the USS Enterprise.
Also, I bought a 2 DVD set which has the movies Alien and Predator.
BoA Deluxe has arrived, oh joy of joys.
Might be able to pick up Saints Row 2 and SWDB Path of Destruction tomorrow.
It shall be the topic of the Dragonslayer gun MOC. It got devoured by the server.
BUT!
This time, there'll be a second MOC in the same topic. A vastly improved 'redesign' of the 'Slayer. Of course, it'll be under a different name, because of its different looks.
Boy, the new version feels good in my hands. Much sturdier than the old one. Barrel is shorter, too.

Went to see IXI/The Driver today for the first time in a month-ish. We had a bunch of fun. He showed me the prototype version of the game Infinity and it looks awesome. He then showed me the C&C3 demo. Grace Park looked goood in it.

That's right, it's a species from the Halo games. The Brutes, to be exact. Funny thing about the species name id that it's Korean and it means something along the lines of 'stupid aggressive lunatic'. I must say, the people at Bungie knew what they did. xD

While I was in Amsterdam,
I'm still alive, despite some persistent rumors.
I'm working 5 mornings a week. Pretty fun. Very exhausting, though.
Apparently, I'm going to have to do a lot of job interviews. Not so fun, but it's mandatory. Not sure if I can do this.
My neck, shoulders and back still have the pain and stiffness that has plagued me for the last 7 years. Has many causes.
