I feel pretty good today...I've written loads for my latest novel in the last few days...a personal record. Now, I would like to give you all a nice little quote to celebrate...but why not make it interactive? You can choose where the quote comes from! The first person to post here can ask for a quote from any chapter of any of the three books. Yay for interaction!
Book I - Chapters 1 - 18
Book II - Chapters 1 - 27
Book III (unfinished) Chapters 1 - 8

Ode To The Lost Gunmetal
O shining metal
Of most beautiful form
Thou art vaguely gray
Yet not actually
Thy shade could be likened
To pearlescent green
Or so I might reckon
Maybe, maybe not
Thou dost exist in many forms
In Hewkii
Toa of Yellorange and Thy Namesake
In Makuta
That most hideous Master
I see thee hiding in the Kikanalo
Spine and saddle thing
Canst thou be found
In Hyraxon's digits too?
Now I see thee
In the new Takanuva, at least I think I do
Noble Toa! Bringe
Well, anyone who's had even a quick glance around BZP today should know what I'm going to build next.
He'll be the perfect guy to go with The Makuta.
Obviously.

Yes, no MOCs...or indeed anything...in a while. Let's take a moment to catch up, shall we?
1. In 25 days, I must hand in my Art, Graphics, and Digital Multimedia coursework and exams. Ridiculous amounts of work, you can't quite believe it until you actually do it. However, mathematically gifted readers might possibly notice that this deadline leaves a rather large amount of time between it and...well, the rest of time. In other words, I shall soon have ridiculous amounts of free time at my di
This is rather exciting story actually, so I'll start at the end, then go to the beginning, then finish with the middle, like all good modern storytellers.
My laptop has returned.
I was at school, typing an essay, when suddenly, my laptop turned off! I tried turning it back on, but nothing happened. So I plugged it in, thinking that the battery had just run out. Thankfully, it turned on, and worked perfectly. However, it said that there was no battery connected ! But it was!
Anyways
Today, I'm going to rant about the game series, Baten Kaitos. More specifically, I'm going to rant about how understated it is.
I found Baten Kaitos completely by accident. I was watching a DVD of game trailers that I got free with a magazine, and clicked the wrong link. I immediately found myself watching something that would change my life.
The trailer was outstanding. Full 3D, interesting plot, great characters, and the music was amazing. The story of Baten Kaitos revolves around island
I was right...BBC 45...perfect.
Now I just need to decide what to build. A revamp of Roa's Scourge would be interesting, methinks...but the chance to design a part-mutated-puffin holds interest too.
Would MOCing all the staffies be too much?
-Seran
Isn't that the most original title ever? Anyway, it's now half term over here, so I've finally got a bit more time. Although I've got loads to do - epics to read, MOCs to make, and that's just for Toa Axzaa (see, I haven't forgotten )
And, um, then there's schoolwork too. And life in general. But that's not too exciting. Oh dear, I'm rambling again.
I'd love to leave you with a wonderful quote or something but I can't think of one. Oh well.

After looking at wonderfully clear photos of the Mistika on another website...let's go through them one by one, shall we?
Makuta
Gorast - lime and black colour scheme is quite nice, if a little too similar to Mutran and Vican. However, the bley torso spoils this, as do the bley Hordika necks at his ankles. These parts in black, or even lime, would look fine. The silver claws are a bit odd though, as his other claws are all black and lime. The orange Bohrok eyes are fine. His wings seem to
You know, the more I look at them, the more I want to get them. Those blades, those chains, those faux-pistons, spines, mask, tubes, and GUNMETAL PARTS are hypnotic.
I want to get Maxilos & Spinax.
Why not? I have more than enough money to buy the entire 2007 collection of sets if I wanted, so it's not money.
The problem is that I swore that Vezon & Fenrakk would be my last Bionicle set.
I'm going out in...about 6 hours, and I'll have the chance to get a set, probably.
Wh
Seran went to the cinema today with Emma and Ally. We saw Coraline, it was great. French and Saunders were fantastically mad voice actresses. I felt the film started to fizzle out towards the end, but I was surprisingly satisfied with the way it ended.
About halfway through, I tried the timeless yawn-and-put-your-arm-around-your-friend-move on Ally. She didn't mind. So there you go. I just need to find a guy to try it on now.
Also, if you think I've stopped MOCing, you're wrong.
Oh yes.
As a couple of people know, I co-run the company Lemon & Gale Enterprises, which specialise in entertaining things such as animated films. Unfortunately I can't link to it, as it links to a site with forums, so I've provided some links to our films down on the left somewhere, near the bottom. I'll add some more in the future, hopefully.

I don't mean that the actual club is hitting people. Oh no. I mean that the Club now has 50 members. This just shows the awesome powers of Lemons.
-Seran
The Lemon Club welcomes its 105th member, Toa Viran! Who'd have thought that the Club would expand so much?
And now, we have a Lemon Party for you all. Yay!
-Seran
...what happened to Lemon Club Contest 3? Was it called Lemon Club Challenge? I don't remember
Anyway, your citric task is...
DESIGN A BOHROK/LEMON HYBRID!
Despite the obvious physical impossibilities, imagine a hybrid creature, part Bohrok, part lemon! Then show us your vision!
But how should you do this?
Draw it, MOC it, paint it, create a 3D wireframe model, carve it into a passing rock, whatever visual medium you so prefer.
Visual medium.
It cannot be a dance.
No.
Yes indeed. All the entries are being judged by Bundalings and me, so the results will be up soonish. Possibly. All the entries are unique and have their own styles, so it'll be hard to pick a winner. Well done everyone!

The winner of the Lemon Club Challenge 2 is...
Arpy!
His magical entry looked at the other side of Lemons, the one that few people notice - just how bad it is to actually be a Lemon. We can all learn a valuble lesson from that story. Arpy thusly wins this rather extraordinarily shiny exclusive bannner:
So, join us in congratulating Arpy in his well earned victory! Yay! And of course, a big thank you to the other entrants...without you, there would be no point whatsoever in having th
The Second Lemon Club Challenge has begun! This time, your challenge is...
write EITHER a poem OR a short story relating to Lemons.
They can be as serious or as bizarre as you like. However, they must be a minimum of 111 words. There is no maximum. Entries will stop being accepted sometime around June 8th. Please post your entries in this entry, or link to them in some way.
I shall be judging, possibly assisted by Bundalings or Aanchir, depending on whether they decide to enter or not.
