Remember this and this.
(Man, that's terrible photo quality... lousy 3 mega pixels.)
I still stand by it... I hate awards shows. Like I'll care or remember who won what and for what and how great they did. My life doesn't revolve around celebrities... it revolves around the sun.
But wasn't that a great moment when that awesome event happened during that one point? I'll always remember how it went. Yeah, it rocked like a concert.
Speaking of memory, I wonder if elephants can get amnesia
Ha, that's the best title ever, and it works for just about everything because it means nothing and something at the same time. There's no deep thought behind that statement... just trust me.
Anyway, on to today's "BZP Breakdown," as these little staff segments should be called. *Hint, hint* Okay, so how important is a title, and why should you care?
As someone who constantly names his creations without much problem, I know that a name can sometimes make or break something. If I give some
I've recently been listening to different speeches by different US Presidents. Originally it was because I wanted to improve my speaking ability by listening to Ronald Reagan, who was nicknamed The Great Communicator, and I wanted to know what that was about. Then I started listening to parts of other speeches for a certain project I was working on. Some of them were at least somewhat interesting to listen to (enthusiastic, passionate), whether or not I agreed with their ideas, but Lyndon B Jo
Okay, we get it: you're Dr. Seuss because you realized "rhyme" sounds like "time" and "poet" sounds like "know it." In fact, I'm so sick of hearing those phrases for poetry: they're some of the lamest, most overdone expressions. (There are very few exceptions, but they have to be within the context of the poem.)
For some reason, people think poetry is all about just making final words sound alike, but that's not true. Good poetry and bad poetry have rhyming words... of course, hardly a poem i
Okay, I'm not really pursuing ignorance... it just follows me everywhere I go.
Anyway, I might have seemed to be online sporadic lately (not that the busy server helps either), but there are reasons for that. Now I won't divulge all my secrets... because then it wouldn't be fun, and no one would be randomly guessing incorrectly.
I have college (semester's almost over) and an offline job to do (one that pays!). I've also been working and planning on some projects that may be revealed later
It's time for a new segment I like to call "Word of the Entry" (obviously). Herein, I shall try to provide a word at the end of each entry and use it in a new way within a sentence; you might know what this means, and you might not. (Let's just say that it makes heavy use of word play.) I'll just show you something simple, so you can see what I mean.
Entry's word: Syllable
Used in a sentence: If you syllable in a very small space, it will get angry and might kill you.
Basically, the idea
I'm going to make a reference back to that slow computer service for this funny though small story.
The other day, I was on one of the instant messengers (won't say which) and as a joke, my sister from several rooms away sent a message asking me what I was doing. Being in an entirely different room and not at my machine when the message was sent, I noticed it when I came back to my computer. Because I felt like it, I replied with what I was doing, and then I went to ask her why she sent the m
Winter already? It's so cold.
A couple weeks ago, we had sleet (I got sick). Yesterday and today, we have freezing cold weather with ice and some snow on the ground and cars.
My hands and feet feel ice cold... oddly enough, one hand can be cold and the other warm at the same time. I feel special... and cold... really, really cold.
Texas must be the Spanish word for "extreme weather" because the state seems either extremely cold or hot, hardly ever anywhere in between. Now if you'll excu
Yes, I know there's a slide, some swings, and a see-saw, but that forum has a point.
Completely Off Topic does not mean completely off all topics: there has to be a point of discussion. Don't just make something up and hope discussion happens: that's the starter's responsibility. (Yes, topic starters have responsibility, though it's more implied.)
Completely Off Topic is not a spamming display site: the name does not mean you can go off the topic that's being discussed. Stick to the topi
So I got back from Hungary this past Sunday (I wanna go back), and I basically hit the ground running almost non-stop. One task after another. Haha.
I went to lunch with a friend of mine yesterday to talk about some stuff, and he ended up getting me a job doing data entry for another company that shares office space with his. Now that's the kind of friend everyone should have. It's not a lasting job at the moment, due to being based on a current project, but things could pick up. I wasn't eve
