Only the skilled can perform feats such as this.
Only the cleansed may touch it.
Believe me, it's a lot harder than it looks. Go ahead, try it yourself.
In other news, it's the last day of summer for me... =[

Guess which animal.
So, I just got back yesterday from a trip. Twelve-hour car rides aren't my favorite thing, but I'm just glad to be back. School starts on Thursday.
I'll tell you the answer to the above in a later entry. Unless of course someone gets it before then. I think you'll be surprised by the answer.

I just came back from K-Mart. Sure enough, the Mistika canister sets were selling for a reduced price, although they sold for $10.99, not $9.99. But I still saved. Add six Mistika to my collection...

Dark Mirror Chapter 5 was posted on www.bioniclestory.com today.
This episode was long, most likely thanks to how easily prolongued the interactions in this chapter could be. Makuta Krika has infected Takanuva with a powdery Makuta virus that allows him to fly at least temporarily. Flying over the protodermis seas in the direction pointed out by Krika, Takanuva comes upon Matoran Jala, Puku pulling an Ussal cart, Toa Bomonga, and Toa Kualus. The two Toa are riding M

Everyone online is raving about the recent major revelation: the true name of the original Makuta character, the one and only villain we have seen our heroes battle since Bionicle 2001. It was in 2004 when we first learned that Makuta was not the only one of his kind. We discovered that he was part of an entire Brotherhood of Makuta. Last year, 2007, when it at last became more pressing to distinguish our Makuta from others in the historical storyline, we started calli

I recently ran across the Greek word antron, which means "cave." A quick Wikipedia search revealed that Antrozoidae is one family for bats. Total coincidence or not (probably not), "Antroz" is just one more of dozens of names this year that have real-world roots.
Radiak -- radiant (light is classified as radiant energy)
Photok -- photo (Greek root for "light")
Kirop -- chiroptera (order in which bats are classified, literally means "winged hand")
Tanma -- tan (lik

Chapter Four of Federation of Fear was posted, briefly taken down, and then re-posted on www.bioniclestory.com today.
Spiriah has been in command of Brutaka's ship for three days, not giving his captive crewmates an inch for resistance. Just off the shore of Zakaz, Spiriah's small armada of Zyglak ships attacks the Dark Hunter patrol boats. Those that are not sunk immediately beach on Zakaz -- their crews are promptly killed by the hateful Skakdi. Spiriah's Zygla

I'm thinking I need more actual Bionicle news in this blog for archive. You know, instead of nonsense.
Biocast: Dark Mirror 3 is on the web today at www.bioniclestory.com.
In this chapter, Takanuva has escaped his prison with his old Takua self, having thrashed some Vahki guards on the way out. He heads down into the Archives looking for the Rahi Krahka. What he finds in the Archives instead of artifacts and static Rahi are trophies of Toa conquests, the most s

A Manas pair sits on the great Bionicle shelves in my basement. Just visiting the collection and admiring the Rahi this afternoon, I tried to reconnect the rubber bands that allow the set to function properly. One crusty old band broke when I touched it. The set has been mine for five years, after all. Not that it mattered -- as long as it was going to break whenever I next tried to put it to use again. Then glancing down at the Bahrag, I looked at their white-rubber

Ah, the good old days -- spent playing Pokemon cards on the playground. For all the time I spent with it and for all its fascination, the Pokemon TCG will forever be a part of me, even if my Pokemon days are long gone. And now my younger brother has given me a fun idea.
This is a preview for something larger at hand, of course. However many duties I have in the real world, I will always devote time to some sort of artistic endeavor. And when it's Bionicle, I kn

Do you ever get the feeling that the day is too short? Do you feel like you had no morning? Do you sometimes even get mad at yourself for waking up at lunchtime because you feel that you were shortchanged a few hours of your day?
That's who I am. Because it's summer, my whole schedule shifts so that I sleep only past midnight and wake up only past eleven. So this morning I forced myself to wake up at 7:15, just to experience what morning feels like again.
Now I r

That's right, Kickapoo.
That would be the name of a state park I went to on Tuesday and Wednesday. It's summer, and my mom said we needed to go on an "adventure." So what we did was go tubing down a river. That sounded really cool to me for a while. I had this vision in which I could see all of us in a circle in this giant, yellow inner tube racing down the rushing river waters. With the wind blowing stiffly at our backs, the water would then turn white as we hit som

Just recently I -- with assistance from my dad -- was able to set up a couple of back-to-back shelving units to display my Bionicle collection.
And I still couldn't get to display the playsets -- just no room .

School, tennis, sleep. For the last few weeks, those were the only three things I experienced in a day. No time for blogs or entering the two Brickmaster contests. My schedule was packed!
But in three weeks, it'll all be over. Now, everything is winding down. Drivers ed was finished long ago. The tennis season finally came to a close this week. I finished a video project. The Heroes season finale airs in three short days. And with nothing calling me away from the comput

Just messin' around with a big roll of paper, a camera, my Bionicle sets, Adobe Photoshop, and Microsoft GIF Animator. It took a few hours yesterday and today to put together. Yes, I am very pleased with the results. Comments greatly appreciated!
EDIT: (I don't like commenting in my own blog -- it's wierd): Yep, GFLK, I'm alive. Don't get many funnel clouds where I live, though.
