100 points to anybody who get gets the title reference anyway so I guess I didn't have to sneak, but I was in and out of the hospital this evening it's ok I'm ok everything's ok, I just had kind of a potentially brain-damagingly high fever that refused to go down they pumped me full of meds and fluids and did every medical test known to man so far as they can tell it's just some kind of virus that should go away within a few days with the proper medication
every time I listen to this song by The Cure, I feel as though all light and joy is drained from my very soul like seriously how can one song be so full of complete and utter despair
I AM SO ANGRY THAT THE WRITERS WOULD DARE TO ACTUALLY DO THEIR JOBS AND WRITE NEW THINGS ABOUT A CHARACTER THAT I OBVIOUSLY KNOW BETTER! THEY ARE RUINING THE SHOW BY NOT KEEPING EVERYTHING EXACTLY THE SAME FOREVER. I AM SO DONE.
NEW VOLBEAT ALBUM. mixed feelings on the title. it fits with their theme and all, but it doesn't really roll off the tongue and it isn't as cool as past titles like Rock the Rebel/Metal the Devil or Guitar Gangsters & Cadillac Blood. title aside, it's pretty much guaranteed to rock in every sense of the word. so color me psyched. I think from time to time (read: whenever I feel like it) I'll do entries where I shamelessly plug amazing albums/songs that are available to download for free, legally, courtesy of the artists who created them starting off with probably the most wildly inaccessible band of the bunch, The Armed. anyone who digs really abrasive, chaotic hardcore punk/mathcore in the vein of Botch or The Chariot should look these guys up their entire discography is available to download free in either high q
remember my hatred for those CD packages where the disc just slides into a cardboard sleeve, which causes them to get scratched and scuffed way too easily? SOLUTION:
those absolutely horrid CD "cases" that are literally just thin cardboard sleeves that they somehow expect you to slide the discs in and out of without scratching them which is, like, impossible seriously I have 3 CDs that just came out THIS YEAR and they're already scratched because of those wretched things
