Man, that was quite a movie. Some great space sequences, good light sabor duels. Dialog was okay, but I wasn't expecting much more. Lots of good shocking moments. I mean, I totally saw Darth Binks coming, but Reys dad being C3P0 was quite the surprise. It was also quite a shock when Chewbacca betrayed the Rebels to the stormtroopers. Didn't see that coming. Wow, Hobbit II AKA Desolation of Smaug was amazing. Like, really good. Sure, it wasn't exactly like the book... but it was better. One thing I can say that's spoiler free was that the IMAX 3D showing was good and almost worth the money. (Almost... it was very pricy!) Since they filmed at a higher rate than normal, the movements were supposed to be more "natural" but last year I found them rather jerky and bothersome, and at points in detracted from the movie in general. My Google Toolbar (on IE) spellcheck option is finally working on BZP again. This last month, I've been getting an error every time it tries to check spelling on the forum. I'm not sure what the issue was, since it worked elsewhere on IE, and auto spelling didn't work on FireFox on BZP either. (But it did on Chrome... but I don't really use Chrome too much.) Okay, so I was looking at the selection of Spider Man figs showed at ComicCon, and I was thinking about the kinds of sets they could make out of them. As far as I could tell, there were only two villains: Dr. Doom and Venom, and a Spidey set would need to have a good set of villains in addition to Spider and allies. Although my blog and name change records were unaffected by the recent forum blackout, I just realized that all my posts as "Xtra Carbon Copy Justice" are gone. Now it's like I never used that name on the forums... luckily the contest is still here in this blog, some pages back.
