Gosh, I had this excellent idea for a sequel for one of my stories, and now I can't get it out of my head! The stories and characters just keep expanding in my head, allowing me to create new character dynamics while also retaining some of my originals and stuff and I'm kind of really excited for it. Naw, I was having my share of fun with the last two blogs. You see, I kept going to other people's blogs and just seeing a big link that said "GO HERE!" A few times I did follow the link and go to the topic, but once I just went to another topic with a link saying "Go HERE!" which was a Brickshelf thing. Anyhow, my current crave in music right now is Weird Al parody songs, and he's done a parody called "Saga Begins" of "American Pie" by Don McLean. The parody is a retelling of Star Wars I: The Phantom Menis. The lyrics are pretty cool, and I memorized most of them by now. But it's so cool how the parody is so close to the original song, which I have listened to before but never paid too much attention to.

So I've helped make a bunch of Bionicle mosaics over the last nine years. The first couple we did as a large group, but over time people's interest (and parts collection) waned, while my interest in making cool Lego mosaics has grown. I gave up on trying to do big group projects after I ended up doing over half of the 2016 "group" mosaic, and instead Chocolate Frogs and I have done a couple of smaller size ones that have traveled around the convention circuit.

Well, I ended up caving in to peer pressure early, and despite my better judgement, I had a drink with rum in it tonight.

Well, I also sent out some chain PMs that got sent to me, forgetting the rules against them. Personally, I didn't see what was so wrong with them; they were a friendly way to pass along ttidbits about yourself. I mean, come on, this is potentially the last big update of the year... and it happens at the same time we get official pictures of the next line. Coincidence!

I mean, man, it's incredible how the entries have turned out. The MOCs seem to be rather high quality, with a few exceptions (AKA my entry) so that it's kind of hard to pick the best of em. I mean, usually BBC contests aren't this evenly matched, right? That, and most of the art entries are awesome... that was my best entry into this contest, and mine's being blown out of the water by some of the other ones. The game ideas are fun, but I am really impressed at the music (and video) submissio
And this is why: So for our Mata Nui Island Project, people kept complaining that we didn't end up including the Kaukau waterfall. My original idea was to use a Kaukau mask, but that would've been far too large. Next was to use a mini mask from the old Bionicle Pens, but those were hard to get ahold of. (Update tho, Swert did come across a complete collection, so there is a future project coming out of that.) Besides, the pen masks wouldn't have blended in with the landscape as well.
