Friend: "Ugh my life sucks because X." Me: "Hey, sorry to hear that. Insert a bunch of emotional stuff to cheer you up here. In the future, you can get around X by doing Y." Friend: "Cool, I'll do that." ~A month later~ Friend: "Ugh my life sucks because X." Me: "Hey, sorry to hear that. Insert a bunch of emotional stuff to cheer you up here. I guess Y didn't work then?" Friend: "No, I didn't do it because what difference is it going to make?" Me: "Seriously, it'll help. I used to
Okay, so I need some help. I turned on my phone today, and the screen and it's just black. It still responds to voice commands, screen presses, etc., and the screen and keys are backlit. Tried shutting it down, taking the battery out and putting it back in, nothing that I can very well access without the screen working is bringing it back. After looking around online, it sounds like a hard reset will do the trick. The idea of losing everything on my phone isn't a fun one though, especially since
So I find that something a lot of people seem to really like in the Elder Scrolls games is to just walk through the overworld, particularly the forests. Not go fight something or go do a quest or anything, just walk through a forest. This doesn't make any sense to me. Maybe I'm spoiled because my neighborhood was built about a ten minute walk from a tiny forest, but if you want to walk through a forest and marvel at the beauty of the trees, why not go to a real forest? If it's things like cl

Do what you love right now. Don't slack off of schoolwork, don't blow off friends, but make time right now to do the things that you love to do and the things that make you feel productive and make you feel happy when you do them. I've been playing guitar since I was ten, and in the ten years since, I've become very proficient. However I barely get to play anymore because of college, and while that will get better once I have a job, I still won't be able to dedicate myself to it. Now it's neve
Oh my god it was fun before but playing with other people makes it so much better The updated physics and shaders help too Also why the heck am I flying around killing titans with random people I have stuff to do for school
So I haven't been writing lately because school wants me to become a zombie. Seriously I've been tired before but I have never been as tired as I was this past Friday. Monday through thursday I'm pretty sure I didn't get more than four hours of sleep even once. I haven't slept as soundly as I did last night in a very long time. Thank god I have a light schedule next semester... But anyway, since I'm still alive but can't take much time to write up a ton of content, here's a cool free album o
So, a few days ago, I took to updating everything on my 3DS, which included installing this Swapnote thingy everyone was talking about. Then suddenly Nintendo decided to shut it down. So...yeah, sorry about killing Swapnote, guys.
Short and sweet, I had been planning on hanging a "Sorry, we're closed" sign around my neck and going as the US government, but since they passed a resolution, that's kinda dead. I need ideas for a quick, cheap costume I can make out of random junk lying around. Go!
So, Halloween. I can't think of what to post now that we're back, so have this Stranger Danger PSA, courtesy of Grand Theft Auto V: http://i.imgur.com/AMVebEs.gif [This image is just a little bit massively over 500kb -Takuma Nuva] Never listen to strangers that tell you to get into their car kids, the car might explode.
And this is where the other 66% of my summer job money went. I'm now pretty much tapped out in spending money from my summer, but I now have a professional audio production program and a professional graphic design suite.
I'm not sure if this is just a bug on Macs using Chrome, but I can't go to external links that are posted on here. I click on it, it gives me the little popup, and it doesn't respond to either button. I have to refresh to use the page again.
This, friends, is 33% of what I have been working a summer job to get. My music production is now powered by the force of a mountain lion! ...Or something. Garageband's fun to mess around and learn in, but Logic is sooo much better. The MIDI instruments are better, the drum loop options are worlds better, the amps are much much much better, and they actually have bass amps that work with a bass instead of me having to use a guitar amp and try to make it work with bass. The song thing being w
So, a week or two ago, I had about 89 GB of free space left on my computer. Fresh after a backup, both because I wanted more space and because I'm going to be buying some very nice professional programs - more on those later - for school, I decided to try and clear some space on my hard drive. I had plenty of games in Steam I never touched, plenty of videos I never watched, copies of albums I never listened to because the remasters are better, etc. plus iTunes is awful at conserving drive space,
In the comments discussion in my last entry, Makaru mentioned Removed.-Nukaya We're allowed to mention social networking sites now? What else did I miss while I was gone? Is cool dude still censored? Yeah, we're not allowed to mention social networking sites still.-Nukaya
Okay, so I have an Animal Crossing game. Wild World, or whatever the DS one was called. Part of the reason I don't remember its name is because I cannot for the life of me figure out what's so fun about it. I see so many people talking and posting about this new one for the 3DS, but I have yet to figure out the appeal. I've paid mortgages, I've uprooted weeds, I've kept the neighbors I liked - or at least last I checked, it's been two or three years so it's probably all new people - I've bou
Dear god this movie was amazing. Definitely not a family movie - Blood? Check. Gore? Check. Drugs? Check. Nudity and sexual themes? Check. Language? Check. - but if you're old enough/allowed to watch that kind of movie, you will not regret this. Time Magazine's editors were out of their mind to call this the worst movie of 2012.
