When there is something wrong, when there is trouble, when you have an argument or a problem with a person you really care about, do you notice how all other things suddenly become minor and not as important as that one issue that needs to be resolved?
And once again most of my earbuds except for the water-resistant pair are having issues.
Which sucks if you happen to be a little audiophile like me.
But I am happy one of my best friends recommended a certain pair from ultimate ears to me a few years back. The cables are replaceable and I am not forced to throw away the buds themselves, worth over 150 bucks...that would suck. Big time.
Now to wait for the order to get here...
Nothing better then to have a little upbeat rock to kill some alone-time on Valentine's.
I guess this one goes out to the singles out there
Move yourself
You always live your life
Never thinking of the future
Prove yourself
You are the move you make
Take your chances win or lose her
See yourself
You are the steps you take
You and you - and that's the only way
Shake shake yourself
You're every move you make
So the story goes
Owner of a lonely heart
Owner of a lonely heart
Warning: People with very vivid imagination or weak stomachs might not want to read on.
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «I saw the result of a hemicolectomy yesterday. a good 15 to 20cm piece of colon with a bit of surrounding tissue in a bucket which my colleague brought down to pathology.
Fascinating stuff.
And another fun fact: After a surgery in the digestive tract the docs don't pay much attention to how the colon was in the stomach before, they just stuff it back
"Boat."
"Boat" is one of the big exhibitions here...with loads of people coming to see it.
So me and my parents went there today.
And I saw two of divings big pioneers, Hans Hass and his wife Lotte.
But there were some more famous people there.
Including the captain and my skipper.
But what does that have to do with ships ye might ask.
Arr mate, there be ships there ^^
I didn't get to see many since we didn't have much time.
But there was this little beauty here that
I am supposed to design the T-shirts for our grade right now, since we will travel to croatia for a week with our Math and Biology course.
In addition I am also working the website-banner for our website.
So I am getting a little more professional now.
Btw. I now have paypal, so I now take comissions for Bionicle art as well.

When you try your best, but you don't succeed
When you get what you want, but not what you need
When you feel so tired, but you can't sleep
Stuck in reverse
When the tears come streaming down your face
When you lose something you can't replace
When you love someone, but it goes to waste
Could it be worse?
Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you
High up above or down below
When you too in love to let it go
If you never try you'll never kn
Just voted for a new mayor and his party, went for those who'll do something about that weird CO-gas pipeline this chemical ompany wants to build near here but fails to stick to safety regulations.
AND I had a run-in with a Clint Eastwood lookalik yesterday. Scarypicing eyes oO
After many a week of not going beyond the boundaries of the blogs, I am positively surprised about all the good art that has emerged in Artwork I lately ^^
Some very talented people have started posting stuff and I've started feeling that urge to draw Bionicle again...we'll see what comes from that.
Speaking of which, I had a nice idea for something!
That pretty much sums up my homework for today.
Sum up the rules behind an old-school game like Tetris or Pac Man within a short paragraph, so that any programmer given these 5 lines of text would come up with the same result.
Give me some water, I'm thirsty,
I walked all this way alone
Every single step, foot by foot,
From somwhere out there, very far away from here
I swam through the ocean, fed on water and salt,
only to come here and finally see you
I was in every desert one can think of
Almost giving up to keep on moving
I often took wrong turns, was blind for too long
Everywhere and nowhere I searched for you
And for years I walked through rain,
Or were it tears? I don't know anymore
If love is
An army of Bohrok, conquering the halls of the fair? What could possibly be cooler then the fairy Robmother's dream?
Head on over to Sisen's blog for all the info!
And in the meantime, I liked the idea so much I felt I needed to do a little publicity-stunt for it and make a few banners.
Have you seen the little pieces of the people we have been?
Little pieces blowing' gently on the wind
They have flown down California
They have landed in L.A.
Little pieces slowly settling on the waves
I'm one of a million pieces fallen on the ground
It's one of the reasons when we say goodbye
We'll still come around We will come around
I have waited for tomorrow from December 'til today
I have started loving sorrow along the way
I am calling from some city
And I won't be there too
I am a little uncomfortable thinking about the prospect of spending the majority of my day staring at a computer-screen.
As in, literally spending 18 hours a day in front of a screen.
Yikes...
...at least for 3 Nights.
I finally made it to Montréal again. Now, since the Hostel I will be staying at is solidly booked until the 23rd I am left with 3 nights in the Airport Hotel.
This is pretty costly, but I guess one time I can do this.
And honestly, who doesn't want to feel fancy sometime? ^^
And since this is the francophone part:
Au revoir mes amis ^^
I'm tired and I wanna go to bed
And I had a little drink
A couple of hours ago
And it runs right through my head
So I say
Show me the way to go home...
How different people are. Not character-wise, but physically.
Some people I get coming out of surgery seem as if they'd just woken up on a fine sunday morning and then there are others who groan in pain.
Some can leave the wakeup room less then 10 minutes after they've arrived and then there are others staying for 4 hours or more until they are brought back to their rooms.
And some really take well to the procedures and are painfree, or we get some like the woman today that we had to lo
I went to see Rock of Ages the day before yesterday, which is just my kind of musical. They even gave out fake cigarette lighters for maximum Audience participation...if only the audience would participate MORE!
To make it short, a musical about 80s classic rock? Totally awesome condensed into 2 hrs!
Scott Pilgrim. If you stumbled across Kohaku's Blog this morning like me, the man speaks the truth and naught but the truth.
In my opinion, the BEST adaption of a Studios opening logo to a mov
"Riders on the Storm" by The Doors
Riders on the storm
Riders on the storm
Into this house were born
Into this world were thrown
Like a dog without a bone
An actor out on loan
Riders on the storm
Theres a killer on the road
His brain is squirmin like a toad
Take a long holiday
Let your children play
If ya give this man a ride
Sweet memory will die
Killer on the road, yeah
Girl ya gotta love your man
Girl ya gotta love your man
Take him by the hand
Make him understand

Home!? HA! I don't think so!
More like TAKE ME TO AWESOME PEOPLE!
After all I am hanging out with Sisen right now and while the temperature is slowly making my brain melt when I am outside I am still having a ton of fun. Like Sisen's dad teaching me how to ride a Quad
Makes the idea of learning how to ride motorcycles all the more interesting when I get back home.
Anyway, WOOOOOOOOT and talk to y'all later...or rather SEE you later, in some cases (MWUHAHAHAHA)
Peace out!
I think I mentioned growing up with my dad's taste of music...well, sometimes I come across some of my favourite songs from that time (Back when I didn't know any English). Today's Discovery? Paul Simon, whos Graceland Album is just full of feel-good music ^^
"You can call me Al"
A man walks down the street
He says why am I soft in the middle now
Why am I soft in the middle
The rest of my life is so hard
I need a photo-opportunity
I want a shot at redemption
Don't want to end up
