One good thing about having a Christmas with my mom and then again with my dad is that I get twice the presents. That being said, what my dad gets me is -never- any where near as cool as what I get from my mother. It's the thought that counts, right?

Last week, June 30 through July 7, I went on a road trip with two of my friends to visit Michigan. We left at 12:40am on the 30th and I managed to stay up for 24 hours the day before, so needless to say I was quite tired on the drive up. So I finally got an MP3 player. Due to certain circumstances, the finances were lacking around the 25th of December at my house, so not until today was I able to pick up my main Christmas present. Of all the things that I don't like doing (which isn't much, honestly), I absolutely detest standing in front of people and giving a speech. I don't know why. I just don't like everyone in a room staring at me. Even if its just a small group, if the attention shifts to me and I start talking, I choke. What's even worse, I consider myself a moderately good speaker. Odd, isn't it? I like writing speeches, yet I dislike standing in front of people to give my speach. *sigh* I guess this is part of w
My Zune HD. This thing is sweet. The browser is awesome and the keyboard is even better. Im going to have to make a concious effort to NOT take this to class next semester.
All movements on the touch screen are incredibly fluid and smooth. I've yet to watch any videos on here yet, but the preloaded pictures look lovely.
My only gripe is that the storage is only 32. I'm sure next year there will be another version coming out though. So if you need more space for your music, wait.

In other news, Elebits for the Nintendo Wii is actually a pretty fun game. It's strangly addicting and the controls are very smooth. I'd buy it if it were any deeper, but alas, GameFly is just the way to go for this game.

Really, it's one of the best games I've ever played. And I'm only a few hours into the game. If you're old enough or trusted by your parents, you should check out this game. I mean, haven't you always wanted to incinerate people, watch them jump into water while you ready your electricity to shock them? At least in a video game. And the Big Daddies are so freakin' hard to take down. I only wish I had more time to play it. Plus, it has incredibly replay value.

So tonight after church, a couple of my friends and I were sitting around on some couches talking. We had Brinner (breakfast for dinner, for those of you who don't know) but my pastor's wife dropped the plate of bacon. Tragedy.
Anywho, my friend made a comment about how he wishes there was a fast food place that served real, good bacon.
