The Happening

Has anyone else seen it?   I need opinions and theories.   I must know what other people think is the cause.   Use spoiler tags.   *disappointed*

There's An App For That

I want a phone that can ping other phones within a close distance and transfer personal information wirelessly and then automatically update the information in your contacts. If there isn't an app for that, I should make it, and become insta-rich.   I want a device that attaches to your buggy at Wal-Mart (or other applicable super-market) and as you add items to your cart, you can scan the item. The device will keep a running total before you check out so you don't overspend.   I'm a genius,

Alan Wake

Has anyone else out in BZP-land played Alan Wake?   I just finished the game today and I'm looking for someone else to discuss theories on the ending scenes of the game.   Overall, the game was assuredly entertaining. The story is definitely the game's strongest element, but the gameplay follows closely behind. The lighting effects are the most beautiful and life-like I have seen in any game, period. Not only with the flashlight, but in the environment throughout the whole game. Shadows move

Bleach

...is about the coolest show on television right now. Big swords, wicked fight scenes, and an excellent storyline. Doesn't get much better than that.   In other news, Elebits for the Nintendo Wii is actually a pretty fun game. It's strangly addicting and the controls are very smooth. I'd buy it if it were any deeper, but alas, GameFly is just the way to go for this game.   And I had to work today. It was pretty slow up until 8:59pm. And we close at 9:00pm, people. When you see the manager wal

So I found out that I'm exempt from all of my exams except for one. I'm not too worried about taking it, though, it's only English. The only thing I'm worried about is not getting enough time to finish the composition after the actual test. But I managed to pull out an essay (including outline, rough draft, and editing the rough draft) in about 30 minutes or so today. But once I'm done with this exam...   School's out for the year!!   A lot of people I know aren't getting out until -next- w

"et Tu, Brute?"

Junior High called. They want their drama back.   It's just a contest, folks.   On a completely unrelated note:   I'm almost at 10,000 gamerpoints, as you can see to the left hand side of my blog. I'm pretty proud of the accomplishmen; it's taken a while, but with more and more good Xbox360 games being released, it shouldn't be too long before I reach 20,000 points.   Bungie released a short video documentary about Brutes, and how they are changing the characters to best fit into Halo

It's December?!

Just hit me that we only have 30 more days left in the year 2006. I don't know about you, but this year has been a great year. Next year should be even better, because I'll be a senior next year! But not to get ahead of myself...   Ungh, Christmas vacation starts in about two weeks, and we all know what that means. Exams. Normally, I'd be exempt from all of my exams, but as we have a not-so-good teacher for Algebra 2 and Chemistry, I don't know if I'll be exempt or not. Of course, the only thin

To Whom It May Concern

Just a few updates:   Nintendo Wii is going to cost $250 and will be released on November 19th, 2006. Count me and a pre-ordered copy of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess in.   The Wii's interface doesn't seem that bad either. I was a little worried about what Nintendo was going to do, but these "Channels" are pretty interesting.   On the other hand:   I went for a job interview today. I had to take a test that was 261 questions long. I haven't sat down since. Anywho, I've basically

Uncle John

I was trying to keep the blog entries down to once a week, but today was a special day.   Today, I found out that I'm an uncle!! Yes, my oldest sister is pregnant. Quite literally, it's a miracle and I'm so incredibly happy for her. I've been waiting for the news ever since she got married and now it's happened. I don't think I can wait until January. Heck, I know I'll most likely cry when I see the baby for the first time.   I hope it's a boy!   Oh, and I'm about to becme a key holder (clo

Iron Man 2

Aaaahhhh so good.   I honestly thought it was much better than the first one. The action was top-notch, along with the acting. The addition of Mickey Rourke, Scarlet Johansson, and Don Cheadle were excellent choices. I actually laughed when Don Cheadle first appears on the screen and he says "Yes, it's me. I'm here; deal with it." For those who don't know, many people were 'outraged' that Don Cheadle replaced Terrance Howard as the character James Rhodes. Jon Favreau also plays a role, in addi

The Color Red

I have never hated the color red so much in my entire life. My Xbox360 just gave me the Red Ring of Death.   Not only has this happened before, it has already happened twice. Hopefully, three times will be the last. My Xbox had been working prefectly fine for the past 10 months, so this is quite unexpected. Atleast I'm still under warranty, or else I would have been enraged.   Now I won't have my Xbox for my birthday and probably not even for Spring Break.   And on a week when I'm hardly e

Fyi

I strongly dislike people who think they're cooler than everyone else.   There is always someone cooler than you.   I also dislike it when you say one derrogatory remark to someone, then go back later and tell him that you were "only joking." Most people say that because you know you will get in trouble.   Other than that, nothing really interesting has happened in the month of April. My sister is moving into her new house this week, but that's about it.   17 more days of school.

The Blue Blur

What's that you say? You saw a blue blur in that Super Smash Bros. Brawl video? Oh, that must be Sonic the Hedgehog.   Yes, folks, Sonic has been confirmed for SSBB, along with an online co-op feature.   Discuss.

It Will Change Your Life

Saw this in a grocery store in Virginia. I just had to get a picture and text it to all of my friends...figured I'd post it here too. Are you readY?   Dr. Pepper Bar-B-Q Sauce   And remind me I need to change the size of pictures my phone takes. 1200 x 1600 lolz.

Opportunities

I had so many opportunities tonight and I just let them slip out of my hands.   Why do I hesitate every time we're alone?   Is it because I have feelings for someone else?   Can I really fall for someone I've never really met before?         At least she liked her birthday present.

Oh, Wednesday, Come Sooner!

Yes, folks, the HALO 3 BETA TEST lands this Wednesday! I'd definately skip school all day Wednesday if I knew I could still get exempt from all my exams. I almost feel like not going to church, either, but maybe I just won't hang out long afterwards.   And I found the coolest shoes today. I'm proud of myself.   Chem. test on Monday can die. No one cares about equilibrium constants and stuff. Except for Ryan.   And we get our yearbooks this week! I'm excited because I was on the yearbook te

So Starts The School Sports

Today was our schools first volleyball team. Both the JV and Varsity teams won. Go girls!   Anywho, tomorrow is our first Varsity football game. Most people I know are going to atleast try and come, it's pretty much tradition to come on the first game. There's no point in going elsewhere, cause most of your friends will be at the game anyways. lol. But, it should be fun. I believe I'll be filming atleast half the game, for around $20 bucks, if I can swap with another guy at half time so we b

I've Wasted My Childhood

I've wasted my childhood concerning myself with Bionicle. Transformers is so much cooler than anything Bionicle could ever be, IMO. Not that I have anything against Bionicle, I love it really, but why didn't I ever get into Transformers?   And by the way, yes, the Transformers movie rocks hardcore. Best movie I've seen in a few years, really. All I can say is that everyone should see this film.   But I got into the theathre for free, without using my free ticket from Sunday. This time, a sec

Abandoned

Hello, everyone. It's been almost two months since I last updated. That's too long. So, here I am.   Last weekend, four of my closest friends and I went camping at Chewacla State Park in Auburn, Alabama. This was the first time any of us had been to this State Park. We chose this site because my friend Joel (the one with the epic beard in the following pictures) had heard that there were some neat waterfalls, creeks and a lake. Around this time of year, it is not unusual for the temperature to

Prepare For Glory

I just saw the movie 300 (finally) and I must say its a great movie and one you should see in the theatre. The story was there, and the fight scenes were just as good. Although, when I bought my ticket, I didn't have to show my ID at all. I don't look -that- old...   But the previews for Spider-man 3 were amazing. I finally got to see Venom. That movie is going to rock faces off. Oh, and it's on the same night as prom, so May 4 is gonna be one killer day. Better reserve our tickets soon, th

The Last Free Weekend

This is my last free weekend of the summer. Luckily, I don't have to work, I don't have any plans, and I'm alone at my sisters house while she's away at the beach.   Perfect.   Of course, school starts Monday and I've been rather sick lately. Today is probably the peak of my illness; I'm coughing like crazy and my nose is oozing fluids of all kinds. Hopefully this will clear up before my first day of school.   Thankfully, this is my last year of high school. My school is going way down-hill

Christmas, Part The First

One good thing about having a Christmas with my mom and then again with my dad is that I get twice the presents. That being said, what my dad gets me is -never- any where near as cool as what I get from my mother. It's the thought that counts, right?   Anywho, I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas or whichever other holiday you celebrate. Enjoy being with your friends and family.   The loot, part 1: -Fable 2 -Guitar Hero World Tour w/two guitars (I'll be exchanging for the game w/one
