I've only ever caught two Shinies, and they've both been in the Johto based games =/.

<3 my Shiny Amphy on SS. Quiet, so it's workable. Don't really know Basculin's stats, but a shiny is indeed a shiny. If nothing else, I'm sure you can offer it for something good.

It's brighter and paler. Still green and blue.
