Bahaha!

I've finally rewritten the ending to that robot story.

So, instead of jumping out the window, he goes to the electrical room in the basement, carves Cogito Ergo Sum into the door and opens up the largest machine he can find and he...

stares at it for an hour.

Yep. He scootaloos chickens out and heads back to his workspace passing another robot on the elevator.

There's a huge explosion and the power goes out for a few minutes. He rushes down to the basement to find that the robot he passed on the elevator just killed himself in the same way that our robot was going to.

This puts our robot in some kind of emotional... thingy.

He's glad to see that he's not the only sentient robot, sad to see another one of his 'kind' die, and angry at himself for being such a coward.
