Tearing Down The Writer's Block

I am currently trying to get rid of my Writer's Block. Pray for me, lol. It's going to be hard, but with plenty of practice in RPGing, a little sweat, a few tears, and plenty of oreos we can break this block together.

Ah, the dreaded Writer's block. The foe of all things written, and all writing writers. But I have found a way to counter it, which sometimes works for me.

First, you stay up rather late, later than you usually would, until you're quite tired.

Then you get someone else and start making jokes back and forth.

Since it is late, the jokes will seem much funnier than they normally would.

Next, you stay awake doing nothing for a few minutes to an hour.

Then, you will likely have quite a few ideas what to write next.

It works for me, most of my best writing is done after this process has been completed.

Which is probably not a good thing really, trading sleep for ideas.

Yeah, maybe you shouldn't try that...

Hmm. I may go against your wishes and try it. Sounds like a good idea. And, yes, things are much funnier late at night. It's easier than getting drunk.

well... I'll ignore the part about getting drunk.

All I can say is: I'll make SURE you break that writer's cramp. *cracks whip*

Ha ha, yeah that wasn't my best quote.

"looks around scared" Okay... I hope Riaril doesn't fire me if I don't break it.
