I would be afraid of mangling. Look at the HF TV show, mix that with the Bionicle movies, and we'd be in serious trouble.

I could see a show fleshing out the Toa-Dark Hunter War working well. Kind of like the Clone Wars TV show, but with BIONICLE. Of course, that wouldn't work with advertising the sets, but still, something like that might work...

Maybe the Core War?

Those series would be awesome if Lego didn't seem set on keeping their media kid-friendly -- in other words, not grim enough at all to support the air of menace a series about the Core War or the Toa-Dark Hunter War would need.
