Of course, they'll probably block him from running like last time, but still. It's great comedy.

Now if it were Jon Stewart, I would definitely vote for him. But Colbert... I mean, pretty much all we see of him is sarcasm. Still, can't be worse than our current options (in this one's opinion, Ron Paul is the only person currently running that is at all promising).

I did enjoy his segments when he tried to run last time. Although if he did win, then he'd have to give up his show.

As much of an awesome thing that would be, him/them actually becoming president/vice president would also be the dumbest thing at the same time. Also Stewart wouldn't dare. Anyway, the Super PAC seems to be a much better, more satirical and more ironic (and more effective?) alternative.

What happens today and onwards should be hilarious though.

I watched The Colbert Report last night, and Colbert "zapped" the money of the Super PAC over to Stewart, all while parodying the Super PAC system - it was hilarious.

Then Colbert said that he was forming an exploratory committee for President of the United States of South Carolina. Balloons fell from the sky. A fanfare began to play. I lol'd.

In the end, though, if he's polling better than some of the other candidates, I say why not.

I think he was only polling better than Huntsman, but whatever.
