I've messed around a bit with one before.

Personally though, I prefer the Cello.

The violin is indeed an awesome instrument.

Wow, that's something I'd love to play as well. It sounds amazing. I can play the piano, kinda.

I completely understand this. Next to piano I think it's one of the most beautiful instruments. There's no way I'd be able to master it in my lifetime, but to learn to play anything on a violin would give me much satisfaction.
