Good Song

Queen of Noise

I'm not really into most of the Homestuck music, but "Phantasmic Youngsters" on the new album is excellent. More of this, please.

YES.

It's one of the few songs on the new album I really dig, which is a right shame. I was hoping this album would be way excellent after hearing Universe A, but I digress.

This song in particular hasn't gotten enough love imo.

I haven't gotten very far in Homestuck itself, but I just gave this song a listen.

Wow, no kidding, excellent song. Really reminds me of Nickel Creek, actually. Dat mandolin.

Man that's funny; this was only the second Homestuck album I found good enough that I actually wanted a copy of it. It's so much more eclectic than other Homestuck albums, with a greater emphasis towards real (rather than synthesized/electronic/programmed) instruments, too. A number of the tracks feature startlingly fantastic production values, as well. I don't really know what the story behind this album is, but I feel it's a huge step forward.

I could listen to The Green Ghost/Cosmic Surgeon (way cooler title) all day. I also noticed the diversification of instrumentaton and appreciate it as you do.

Best album? Maybe, I haven't listened to the others (barring Universe A) in a bit.

On that note, I'm like three months behind on my Homestuck reading.

It's probably much more diverse because all the songs are made by the fans as opposed to the actual music team, as was Universe A.
