There once was a land ruled by thee kingdoms. Each of the three kingdoms held a third of the land, but at their center was a single island whose ownership none could agree upon.

To finally settle this matter, the kingdoms agreed to send their knights to battle over the island. The first kingdom sent a thousand knights, accompanied by their squires. The second kingdom sent two thousand knights, accompanied by their squires. The third kingdom sent but a single knight and his squire.

The night before the battle, one could hear the knights' squires polishing and repairing the armor of the knights. In the third kingdom's camp, the knight's squire went about cleaning his master's armor in his own way; he tied a rope around a pot, filled it with water, placed the armor in, and then lifted it over the side of a tree branch to hang there and soak. Then in the morning, he could simply tip out the water.

The following morning, the knights of all three kingdoms were tired and indignant at the idea of fighting such a battle over such a tiny island. Instead, the knights all instructed their squires to go in their places. For hours, the battle raged on, until only the solitary squire of the third kingdom stood.

Thus proving that the squire of the high pot and noose is equal to the sum of the squires of the other two sides.

I think something inside me just broke. I have no idea what it is. Should I be worried?
